Montoya is one of Mahogony Prince’s most illustrious sons. The blending of his sire, the legendary Mahogany Prince of PVA and his irreplaceable dam, BBFAI Azalea, produced such a pre-potent male. Montoya possesses a rich, deep mahogany colored fleece that is extremely dense, with excellent coverage and well locked from the tip of his ears to his toes AND is a multiple COLOR CHAMPION. Offspring include: Silvana of PVA, 2006 Gray CHAMPION; Olivia of PVA, 2006 AOBA & AWE COLOR CHAMPION; Fantasia of PVA, 2008 Reserve COLOR CHAMPION at the AOBA Nationals & AWE and half sister to 2006 Supreme CHAMPIONS Diamonte and Syrah, both of whom were also AOBA National COLOR CHAMPIONS. -Full brother to the legendary Kobe of PVA and Juan Pablo of PVA.
 AOA# 810670 Medium Brown
Dam:

Marushka of PVA

SuriBred (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 841424DOB: 7/19/200222 yrs
Since 2005, Marushka has proven herself to be an excellent mother. Together she and Montoya have produced six dark-colored, championship-worthy crias, among them Ursala (2005), Mariska (2007), and Makayla (2008). Ursula was the 2007 AOBA Nationals Brown Color CHAMPION and 2007 Futurity Brown Color CHAMPION. Her 2010 cria, Magnum of PVA, is a stunning male, also by Montoya. Marushka has much to offer as a production female: a sensible temperament, mothering experience, and healthy crias. She was been rebred to Montoya for a 2012 cria. If it ain't broke, we don't fix it! Marushka gave birth to a dark brown female cria on June 24th 2012. Her cria, Mariquita, has mischievously sparkling eyes and loves to follow the humans around when they are in her pasture. Marushka is rebred to Montoya for a summer 2013 cria.

Description

Describe Mariah of PVA in five words or less: “Elfin?” Okay. “Pixie-like?” Yes. “Cute as a bug?” Definitely. From the moment she could walk, Mariah’s black eyes twinkled impishly in her gray face, and later from under a thick, brown topknot. She was adept at wedging herself under the necks of feeding adults so that she could feast unnoticed on their ‘paca pellets. She loved to slip up behind you in the field to nibble on your back pocket. More words to describe Mariah: “Well-bred?” Yes. “Descended from alpaca royalty?” Most definitely. Mariah is out of Marushka of PVA and by Montoya of PVA. This dynamic duo has produced many show ring winners for Park View Alpacas. The union of Marushka and Montoya has created the likes of Ursala, Mariska, and Makayla; (spoiler alert: be looking for their Magnum of PVA in the show ring next year!) Marushka is out of Woodsedge Matuta and by Cantano of Peru. Montoya is, of course, the son of BBFAI Azalea and PVA Mahogany Prince. He is the full brother of Kobe of PVA, and the sire of numerous champions. Mariah has matured into a slim and shy three-year old maiden, but her eyes still twinkle.
