The first is physical--almost all of them inherit bright lustrous fleece. Every one of them has enjoyed bouncing, robust good health. The second is tempermental--almost every Koyoto cria is fun to be around. They love people. They are easy to halter train and work with. Koyoto is a repository of some very fine blood lines. He carries the blood of Mahogany Prince thanks to his mother, Keana of PVA. Koyoto’s sire is MacGyver, and his maternal grandmother is PVA’s powerhouse foundation female, Peruvian Fawn Alli. When you're breeding alpacas, it's hard to ask for more than that.

Of her own crias, Luminoso of PVA (2008) also made his mark at such shows as the Futurity and CABA in 2010. Luminara is tall and big boned with a nice straight back. Luminara gave birth to a stunning dark brown female by Koyoto in October of 2012. This cria, named Luminancia, was shown at the 2013 CABA Classic and AOBA Nationals.

Description

Luminoso’s name was assigned to him at birth. He was born the palest of luminous fawns, the color of moonlight with a hint of gold and the feel of silk. As he grew, his little locks maintained their independence, and we were pleased to see the luster appearing with each passing day. The name “Luminoso” must have been pre-ordained. Luminoso is descended on both sides from the finest bloodlines Park View Alpacas has to offer. His maternal grandmother, Libby’s Noelle, is by PPeruvian Torbio and out of Amadora. Libby is responsible for such PVA luminaries as First Noelle, Princess Protégé, Luciana, Lussorio, and Victorino, each in their turn stars of the show ring. Perhaps it is from Libby that Luminoso gets his coloring—she is a fine silvery fawn. Luminoso’s dam, Luminara of PVA, is out of Libby’s Noelle and by the one and only Mahogany Prince. ‘Nuff said. On his sire’s side, Luminoso also inherits some very fine bloodlines. Koyoto of PVA also carries the blood of Mahogany Prince thanks to his mother, Keana of PVA. Koyoto’s sire is MacGyver, and his maternal grandmother is PVA’s powerhouse foundation female, Peruvian Fawn Alli. Luminoso has well-acquitted himself in the show ring. In 2010 he placed 1st at the Futurity, 3rd at GWAS, took a Reserve Championship at CABA, a 2nd at IAO, and a 4th at AOBA. As if his show record and his pedigree weren’t enough, Luminoso is also a good-tempered and pleasant fellow. What more can you ask of a young male who is ready to become a herd sire?
