Every once in a while you get a beauty and indeed Wyuna is every bit as good as any suri we have ever created. When he was just a few months old Joe Miller from Broken Road Alpacas came to our farm to find some show stock. He spotted Wyuna and instantly was obsessed with his quality and purchased a half share with Stacy, his wife. They have not been dissapointed! He had a sterling show career as a juvie but in 2011 blazed! He was unbeaten in five shows winning all the championships he competed in and all the Judges Choices line ups he was in! He is a combination of the best genetics we can possibly supply plus the best from off our farm. Just look at his ARI certificate. He pulls in the famous Bruxo and Augustina through Macgyver as a great grand sire. He also pulls in Pucara Kahuna through Pucara Kalina the best Kahuna daughter we ever bred at that stage, then again Pucara Kahuna comes through Pucara Lorretta on the dam's side. We are biased but Pucara Kahuna is probably now the foremost white herdsire in US history continually winning Get classes and Futurity herdsires of the year. Then add Uribe on through the sire, Chakotah, and then Pucara Allegro via her dam, Pucara Autumnall Goddess, a Produce of Dam winner. Pucara Allegro was a dominant herdsire in Australia with 39 championship progeny of which 17 went on to win Supreme Championship! Wyuna displays an elite fleece. Fiber for the Future! It is incredibly fine. It displays independence of lock that accentuates the high luster within. Those locks display solidity that emphasizes the density combined with silky soft handle that an elite fleece should possess. All of this atop a stellar frame with girth of chest, robust stature and spring of rib. He is eye candy. Peruvian Fawn Alli is an amazing lady alpaca. Clever, elegant, a fantastic mother--many of her crias have inherited her fawn coloring and dark, intelligent eyes. Fawntoya, born in 2004, is unmistakeably her mother's daughter. Were it not for the posturing and attitude she has received from her father, Montoya, she could occasionally be mistaken for her mother. (Not all daughters would appreciate this, but in Fawntoya's case it is a compliment). Fawntoya has borne three crias to date. The first, the cute as a bug Fabriano, was born in 2007. His sire was Moon River's Peruvian Durango. The second, Fawnessa, was born in 2009, by MacGyver's Balboa. She lit up the PVA showstring in 2011, and sold at the Prestige Auction later that same year. Fawntoya's third cria is by Black Obsidian of PVA--he is a stunning true black male--and together they have produced a rich dark maroon cria, a beautiful little girl who reminds us of her paternal grandmother, BBFAI Azalea (the dam of Montoya and Kobe, among others). Fawntoya gave birth in 2012 to a medium fawn male by Black Beau of PVA, a multiple color champion in 2010! His fleece is simply smashing, there's no other way to put it. Brilliant luster, distinct and wavy greasy feeling locks bursting with fineness--we can't wait to show him. Fawntoya is breeding to Chakotah's Wyuna for a 2013 cria.
