Montoya is one of Mahogony Prince’s most illustrious sons. The blending of his sire, the legendary Mahogany Prince of PVA and his irreplaceable dam, BBFAI Azalea, produced such a pre-potent male. Montoya possesses a rich, deep mahogany colored fleece that is extremely dense, with excellent coverage and well locked from the tip of his ears to his toes AND is a multiple COLOR CHAMPION. Offspring include: Silvana of PVA, 2006 Gray CHAMPION; Olivia of PVA, 2006 AOBA & AWE COLOR CHAMPION; Fantasia of PVA, 2008 Reserve COLOR CHAMPION at the AOBA Nationals & AWE and half sister to 2006 Supreme CHAMPIONS Diamonte and Syrah, both of whom were also AOBA National COLOR CHAMPIONS. -Full brother to the legendary Kobe of PVA and Juan Pablo of PVA.

CHANELLE'S PERUVIAN CHANTILLY LACE

SuriBred (Female)White
AOA# 816249DOB: 2/16/200024 yrs
Chantilly Lace, a pretty face...forget about the pony tail hanging down. As for the wiggle in her walk and the giggle in her talk, we'll leave it Montoya of judge that. After all, he's been Chantilly's main squeeze for most of her breeding career here at Park View Alpacas. Working together as a breeding team, Chantilly and Montoya have had a reasonable influence on our breeding program. This pairing has given us Corneliani of PVA, who is used as a herd sire here at PVA. They have also given us the divine Ivory Princess of PVA--mother of Ivory Prince (standing stud at Alpacas of Tualatin Valley), the incomparable Imperial Princess, and Prince of India; as well as Cristalla of PVA, who began her own reproductive career before selling at the 2012 Prestige Auction. Chantilly gave birth to a female cria the day before she was due--June 25 2012--a healthy beige female cria who is currently gaining a pound a day! This year, however, we have decided to try something new. Chantilly was bred to Chakotah's Wyuna, and is now expecting a 2013 cria. Chantilly tends to produce robust, healthy crias who quickly outgrow their immediate peers--they get taller, sooner than the others, and quickly outweigh them. Her crias all have curly corkscrew independent locks with some nice luster--and we're finding this trait in her grandchildren as well. In short, Chantilly is one of those foundation females that we feel quite fortunate to have, and while we are pleased with her Montoya crias, we're REALLY looking forward to seeing what she produces with Wyuna...
