Black Beauty has been an important individual among PVA’s production females for these last five years. Her notable offspring include Diamonte’s Diva (2006) and Black Beau (2008), who this year won IAO Supreme CHAMPION and became a 4th Generation COLOR CHAMPION winning at both AOBA Nationals and the Futurity, as well as Beyonce (2005), Black Bella (2007), Bettina (2009), and a pearly-white female in 2010. Each cria has enjoyed good health and great mothering from Black Beauty. Black Beauty stands out from the herd thanks to her true-black coloring, her expressive eyes, and the tightly-curling ringlets on her face and neck. We decided to try something a bit different for 2010, and bred her to Corneliani instead of Kobe or Diamonte. Corneliani won 1st Place halter and 1st Place Best Head in the 2007 Internaional Alpaca Odyssey. He also placed 1st Place AOBA National. Reserve Champion 2006 Futurity, Reserve Champion 2006 AWE, Reserve Champion 2005 AWE, Reserve Champion 2005 Buckeye, 1st Place 2005 MAPACA Eastern Jubilee. She delivered a female cria by Corneliani in September of 2010. Black Beauty gave birth to a true black female cria by Balboa for 2012. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, this cria is a sterling example of what both her sire and dam are capable of producing-- luster and locks, good conformation, winning disposition! Black Beauty is breeding to Chakotah's Wyuna for 2013, at the request of her new owner.

Every once in a while you get a beauty and indeed Wyuna is every bit as good as any suri we have ever created. When he was just a few months old Joe Miller from Broken Road Alpacas came to our farm to find some show stock. He spotted Wyuna and instantly was obsessed with his quality and purchased a half share with Stacy, his wife. They have not been dissapointed! He had a sterling show career as a juvie but in 2011 blazed! He was unbeaten in five shows winning all the championships he competed in and all the Judges Choices line ups he was in! He is a combination of the best genetics we can possibly supply plus the best from off our farm. Just look at his ARI certificate. He pulls in the famous Bruxo and Augustina through Macgyver as a great grand sire. He also pulls in Pucara Kahuna through Pucara Kalina the best Kahuna daughter we ever bred at that stage, then again Pucara Kahuna comes through Pucara Lorretta on the dam's side. We are biased but Pucara Kahuna is probably now the foremost white herdsire in US history continually winning Get classes and Futurity herdsires of the year. Then add Uribe on through the sire, Chakotah, and then Pucara Allegro via her dam, Pucara Autumnall Goddess, a Produce of Dam winner. Pucara Allegro was a dominant herdsire in Australia with 39 championship progeny of which 17 went on to win Supreme Championship! Wyuna displays an elite fleece. Fiber for the Future! It is incredibly fine. It displays independence of lock that accentuates the high luster within. Those locks display solidity that emphasizes the density combined with silky soft handle that an elite fleece should possess. All of this atop a stellar frame with girth of chest, robust stature and spring of rib. He is eye candy. Is it true that blondes have more fun? If so, then Bettina of PVA is a bombshell. Her thick fleece is abundant and lustrous. Her body is well built. And she has the dynamic personality of an operatic soprano. Watch out, world! Bettina is out of Simpatica’s Black Beauty and by Kobe of PVA. Black Beauty, as we call her, is out of Simpatica la Boliviana and by Black Fire de Bolivia. Black Beauty has produced big names for PVA, including Diamonte’s Diva and Black Beau. Kobe of PVA, of course, carries the blood of his dam, BBFAI Azalea, and his sire, PVA Mahogany Prince. Kobe’s offspring are legion by now; we just can’t resist mentioning the name Diamonte of PVA. Bettina has been bred to Chakotah's Wyuna, who has just begun his own breeding career after a star-studded time in the show ring. Her cria is due in September of 2012.
