BBFAI Azalea is the mother of Kobe of PVA and Montoya of PVA, two of the most influential herdsires from Park View Alpacas. Azalea is a deep maroon color, almost purple in some lights. She is a fiesty and productive female--This year she gave birth to her twelfth cria, a cute little maroon female by Keanu of PVA. And much to Azalea's delight, we're now breeding for cria number 13-- this time by Chakotah's Wyuna.

Description

Aviano is a newly minted third generation Color Champion here at Park View Alpacas. He was shown at the 2012 Alpaca Breeders' Invitational in Redmond, OR, in October, and earned his first Color Championship! Then in the spring of 2013, he won a second Color Championship at the IAO in Sacramento, and a Reserve Color Championship at the CABA Classic. Aviano's sire is Keanu of PVA, himself a second generation Color Champion. Keanu has also sired such champions as Primo of PVA, the 2008 International Alpaca Odyssey Supreme Champion; Minerva of PVA, the 2009 AOBA National Show Color Champion; and full sister Azaria, the 2009 Camelid Extravaganza Reserve Color Champion. Keanu was sired by PVA Mahogany Prince, and his dam is foundation female Peruvian Fawn Alli, herself a mother of champions. Aviano's dam is BBFAI Azalea, which makes him a half brother to two of PVA's most well known herdsires, Kobe of PVA and Montoya of PVA. Both were sired by Mahogany Prince, both are second generation color champions, and both have sired and grandsired many more color champions. In 2013, Aviano and his full sister Aubrey won their mother a first place Produce of Dam at the MAPACA Jubilee. Aviano is living up to the family tradition!
