BROWN COLOR CHAMPION! It's no wonder with his 5" staple length and consistent crimp! Touch Adam's coat and feel the crimp! Adam is the boy who started it all. Adam has placed in every class, and one judge commented that "it will be nice to watch this boy grow". Adam's fleece is dense, dense, fine, crimpy, and has wondrous feel. His lock structure is solid with bright color to boot. Adam has shown in both dark fawn and light brown. He is showing a bit of rose grey in his head and neck - a variety of colored cria is a good possibility. Adam continues to bring home the ribbons. His 4th place finish at the 2009 Heartland Classic with tough competition is even more proof of his worth. Bright, crimpy, dense WOW factor alpaca! Adam added another ribbon to his collection at the 2010 Indiana Invitational, followed by COLOR CHAMPION at the I-80 Alpacafest. 2012 - Adam's first cria are on the ground. He has thrown a beautiful medium silver grey female out of Ovation's Annie and a crimpy dense light brown male out of Tess. We are impressed enough with these two cria that we did a repeat breeding. We are looking forward to having these gorgeous alpacas in our 2013 show string. 2013 - If you want a chance for a multi-colored cria try Adam. His 2013 cria have beautifully marked white faces. Panda is a light fawn out of a beige dam, Charmed, and Enrique is Dark Brown out of a silver grey, Tess. Both have exceptional conformation, full body crimpy fleece and Panda had full face fleece coverage at 8 weeks old. If you want to add crimp, staple length, color and density to your herd, Adam is your man! Book your breeding now or add Adam to your herd. Call and discuss your options!

Evergreen Elegant's Tess

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 30539761DOB: 11/22/200618 yrs
Tess is the foundation of the grey side of our herd. We love her classic look, impressive lineage, and fabulous temperament. Then, there's her fine, fine fiber!! Tess's micron is an astonishing 19.5 and she passes the fineness to her cria of color. Established fiber artists call Tess's fleece "Heavenly", adding to her list of credentials. Tess has graced us with an impressive black male cria, Windchime's Ebony Pacaman, by SSF Peruvian Smoke 'n Mirrors (son of Peruvian Accoyo Maverick). His spirited nature and proud stance is already a true indicator of his future herdsire status! Tess is bred to our color champion White Hope's Adam for a 2012 Spring cria. We are very excited about this breeding that will produce a 7/8 Peruvian of color with crimpy, dense, long fine fleece!! UPDATE: Tess's 2012 cria, Thunder, arrived May 12th. He is a fine dark brown with her laid back attitude and the classic Challenger head. He just gets better every day. We like this boy so well we have bred Tess back to Adam for a 2013 cria. Thunder has shown twice and had the best fiber "By far" in both shows. Cria number 3 is on the ground and the best of the bunch. A dark brown with white face. Enrique, is a show stopper. Like his brothers, Enrique has inherited Tess's fabulously fine fiber. Tess has old fashion phenotype and that's what she is throwing. Unfortunately, this hurts in the show ring and the fast paced phenotype changes in the alpaca world. If your focus is developing baby fine fiber of color, Tess is the girl to add to your herd.

Description

Thunder has the deep rich color and staple length of his sire and the super fine softness of his dam. He has been trained and exposed to many situations for a pleasant experience every time you work with him. It is truly hard to describe the pleasure of sinking your hands into his fleece. It just has that "Oh Yes" feel. Thunder was weaned at 6 months and 83.5 lbs., demonstrating the growth rate and capacity we love to see. Through weaning he has not lost weight or the beautiful brightness of his fiber. This boy can handle stress without a problem. Like his dam and sire he has a wonderful temperament and enjoys attention.
