We are very excited about the offspring hitting the ground from our full Accoyo beige son of El Nino (Caligula's best son), who had a 16.3 micron fleece at one year! Dr. Norman Evans did a skin biopsy in the fall of 2005, and according to his results, Michelangelo's density is absolutely unmatched (S/P Ratio of 13.28/1 and follicle density an amazing 107 follicles per sq/mm)! One of the softest AND densest fleeces I've ever had the pleasure to touch! Multiple champion and blue ribbon winner in fleece and halter! Michelangelo had confirmed pregnancies at 22 months, and to date has many healthy CHAMPION offspring on the ground (including ROSE GREY, SILVER GREY, medium brown, light fawn, beige and white! His offspring took blues in both juvenile white male AND female classes at AOBA Nationals, and a grey took a blue at the Futurity! Judge Kevin O'Leary commented that a white Michelangelo offspring he judged at AOBA had "the finest fleece he'd had in his ring all day! Herdsire discounts from SSF do not apply to Michelangelo breedings. We will begin booking a few limited outside breedings for 2008.

"Not Jus’ Whistling Dixie" is “Not jus’ another pretty face”...she is a multi Color Champion with tight crimpy fine fleece, excellent conformation and perfect instinctual mothering qualities! Dixie has produced 3 offspring….ALL CHAMPIONS! Bred to El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo, they produced Color Champion Crystal de Diego who came with a 13.4 micron! He is now a standing stud available for breeding at our farm(1/2 interest available)! Dixie is now a CC grandmother since Diego’s first offspring, Breslin, earned his first Color Championship this spring! Dixie’s 2nd breeding to Peruvian Jericho, produced Crystal Sangria….the 2010 Brown AOBA National Champion! After being bred to Peruvian Jeremiah, Dixie blessed us with Multi Color Champion; Crystal Santana (1/2 interest available). In 2009 Dixie was bred to PPPeruvian Royal Fawn and last year they produced a stunning MB future Herdsire, Crystal Payton, who will be debuting in the show ring this fall. She is currently bred to our Futurity Champion, Crystal Spartan and is due fall of 2011! Stay tuned!

Description

Color Champion Diego's macho male magnetism, fine, dense and crimpy fiber, along with his excellent conformation are reasons he is still a herdsire on our farm! His sire is El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo and his dam is CC Hobby Horse Not Just Whistling Dixie (daughter of the late great CPeruvian Winchester)! Diego is the epitome of “The Complete Package” and his offspring, including Crystal Savannah, are stunning. His first micron was an unbelievable 13.6 microns! Diego has always been a favorite on our farm. He stands so straight and proud in the pasture, that his macho confidence is hard to miss. His first AFD was a 13.6 and his density is uncomparable.
