Christopher is a very impressive Invincible son. He has beautiful conformation as well as full face and leg coverage. He is also 3/16 accoyo. This male is extremely dense. We were amazed this year when he sheared almost 11 lbs! Also, he has very crimpy fleece from head to toe, with a long staple length. He is the easiest herdsire to handle on the farm, and we hope he passes this trait onto his offspring. He is our public relations representative. He travels everywhere with us to educate the public about alpacas. This male boasts a very impressive pedigree on his sire's side. These names include Peruvian Hemmingway, Snowmass Invincible, Snowmass legacy Gold, and peruvian Caligula. On the other hand, his dam's side is also very impressive including Peruvian Matador and Peruvian Black Mesquite. His first crias are due spring 2010 and we expect great things from this young herdsire. Recently Judge Wade Gease remarked about the fineness of Christopher's fleece and his showy prescence!!!! Christopher has truly impressed us with his first cria in 2010, she is out of our foundation herd female, Battina. The cria is a female and has taken on her mothers bay black color with the qualities in her fleece of a high quality white animal. Christopher's colorful background encouraged the dark color to be thrown on this cria. She has also taken on her sire's build, she is sturdy and extremely straight. As you can see in these photos, Christopeher's cria has grown significantly in the past few months and her fleece is resembling her father's more and more each day. This cria's crimp and density is consistent throughout her blanket, head, neck, and legs. The crimp style and build is almost identical to her father's. She is truly impressive. Up to date Christopher has almost exclusively thrown the color of the female he is bred to.
