Both of these offspring had 16.8 and 18 micron respectively. Both have done extremely well in the showring including blue ribbons in the always tough white classes. Donato consistently shears over 7#’s on his blanket weight and at age 6, still maintains excellent fleece stats: micron 23.1, SD 4.2, CV 18.5, Medullated Fibers 12.5%, Spin Fineness 22, Curvature 40.5. Donato’s micron came back for 2012 and at 8 years of age, still has a 23.8! In 2017, his son Donner at 8 years of age is a 22.6 micron!

Miss Amber Light is a daughter of color champion Alta's Ultima of PVA who's dam Greenvale Alta was a color champion herself and daughter of Peruvian Don Julio. Alta's Ultima sire was none other than Peruvian Hemingway. Miss Amber has fineness and decent density. Her 2009 daughter did very well in the show ring, always in the ribbons including multiple 1st and 2nd place ribbons. Amber Light gave birth on August 30 to a rose grey male sire by LEGEND'S PERUVIAN REVELATION OF KPR. This little guy has unbelievable density and crimp. Amber Light will be bred to JLFA MILLENIUM'S PERUVIAN VENTURA for 2013. This would put Hemingway on both sides of the pedigree several generations down but will most definitely increase the odds for adding to finer fleece which Amber already possess.
