Description
You can’t go wrong with this Silver Grey Blue Ribbon Winner! With First Place showings at the Illinois Alpaca Show 2012, Best of the US Alpaca Show 2013 and Buckeye Alpaca Show 2013, you know that you are getting high quality. Her high density and bold crimp have already turned the judges’ heads, and now she can turn heads at your farm, too!
Her dam, Princess Grace, is multi-ribbon winning Silver grey with a grey and black pedigree. Grace has been one of the top competitors in her class and currently earned 6 COLOR CHAMPIONSHIPS and 1 RESERVE COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP and Blue Ribbons! She has elite fleece that is very fine, a soft handle, brightness, high frequency crimp and is extremely dense. Her fiber sports a micron count of 16.2 with a comfort factor of 100% and a curve of 26.3!
Her sire is the silver grey Legend's Peruvian Revelation of KPR. Ian Watt did a biopsy on Revelation and he had this to say: "These figures represent a SUPERIOR silver grey male in todays grey population!" Follicle Density: 54.01 follicles/mm, S/P 9.5:1. Revelation received the highest fleece score of all greys at '08 Nationals, composite class where he took a blue ribbon. Revelation has deep, uniform crimp from skin to tip and from front to rear. He has a very pleasing, typey head with black eyes and straight conformation. His bite is perfect. He has a very gentle temperament also.
Silver Sade was bred to Independence Gray, a compact, full Peruvian silver grey with a nice topline and proportionate with an awesome tuxedo! He has an impressive nearly-spotless blanket with density that exhibits nice fleece frequency and fineness. His 4th year fleece stats: 22.2 AFD, 4.5 CV, 20.3 SD, 5.5%>30! Indy's genetics are not common which lends well to all gray breeding programs. Indy's sire, Peruvian Cisco is the son of the famous 5Peruvian Quicksilver, known to produce grey Champions to include Shaquille.
