Looking for a dense male for your girls? Benito is just the guy you are seeking!! Benito is now proven and boy he knocked one out of the ball park. See pictures of La Raina and Photograph. Photograph just sold at 8 months. All Benito's offspring have sold before hitting the 1 year mark! Except La Raina who I have kept for myself. His first born son Rio Grande' resides at Harmony Lane Alpacas and he is looking more and more like his macho sire everyday. Benito's Progeny Histogram Statistic's La Raina D/F AFD 18.5, SD 3.4, CV 18.5 > 1.1 Striking just like his sire, PHA Accoyo Bentley once owned by Alpacas at Turtle Creek Farm. He brings a nice set of bloodlines wrapped with his gentle personality, bold, macho features, he's very compact with straight top line, broad chest and large frame. His fleece has about a 6 inch staple, nice bold crimp and his density is all there. HE SHEARED 13 LBS THIS YEAR!!! His bloodlines include his fawn colored Accoyo dam, PHA Accoyo Keyahna (Accoyo Victor daughter), and his sire, Accoyo El Nino (Accoyo Caligula son)- both are multiple blue ribbon winners! PCA Accoyo El Nino has the AOBA Get-of-Sire award in 2004 and has won the Light Futurity Herdsire of the Year in 2005. El Nino now deceased making Benitos bloodlines more valuable to any breeding program.

Rock Solid Producer in Maroon!

Hula Jubilee SALE IN PROGRESS

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 838421DOB: 6/8/200222 yrs
Hula has been a solid producer for us for the here at Indian Prairie. She is a nice sized girl, well perportioned, stunning maroon color and topping it all off with a wonderful personality. Her fleece still at age 10 yrs has a nice brightness to it, but does lack it's staple now being at 3 plus inch. All of her offspring are bringing to the plate finess, brightness that is blinding, full coverage and loaded with consistant character. Hula prides us with Spectacular offspring every single time. Colors are ranging from Beige to true black with her last being a dark fawn female (La Raina) out of a beige sire. That pairing was was so Exquisite that it is being repeated. Now since La Raina is in with our foundation herd we have decided to give someone else the opportunity to own Hula and bring some fantastic offspring into your herd. Hula has superb mothering insticts, abundance of milk and is an easy birther every year. She is a very low maintenance dam. We have only trimmed her teeth twice in 5 yrs and toes are done every 1 to 1 1/2 yrs. You just can't go wrong with this girl. She's one of a kind!!

UPDATE : Histogram stats are in. MFD 17.5, SD 3.4, CV 18.5,> 1.1% UPDATE: May 2014 - La Raina's sire Benito Juarez is Now Deceased. He left behind 2 females and 2 males. Di Sorrono at Walnut Hill Farms -Metamora, MI took 3rd place this spring in a tough fawn class. He's a definite upgrade from his sire. Ringlet type fleece that just glistens. Rio Grande at Harmony Lane Alpacas hails the title Fleece Monster. Measuring almost 6 inches Unstretched!! LA Raina is a well set girl, setting an example of what we are breeding for. She exhibits heavy bone like both her dam and sire. Her fleece has very nice character from her top knot, down through her neck, right on into her blanket and hind quarters. Her genetic make up includes: Caligula, El Nino, Victor, Augusto and Sunipani just to name a few. Her dam Hula contributing brightness and character style as well as her finess, while her sire Benito Juarez gave his well known density and coverage. Striking is the bottom line.
