A herdsire for all breeding programs, SA Peruvian Valente has all of the qualities that a breeder could desire and should look for in a stud. SA Peruvian Valente, one of our most popular herdsires, has proven himself in the ring over and over again. The highlights of his show career show that the judges have all agreed…he is the one to best! With his exquisite fiber traits, it is no wonder that the judges have chosen him above the competition time and again. Fine fleeced with exceptionally soft handle and bright as a shiny penny, his bundled fiber has bold, high frequency crimp that pops out when you part his fleece. His uniform, dense coverage continues down straight legs and onto his helmet head. Well proportioned, his straight lines give him a stud presence worthy of a king. Valente has already proven that he passes onto his offspring his fiber characteristics of well defined, high frequency crimp making him one of our Elite Signature Herdsires. Valente comes from the most successful cross that we have at our ranch. His sire is Royal Peruvian Apollo, a multiple Champion and winner of AOBA Nationals Age and Color Champion who has gone onto sire multiple Champion offspring. Together with Peruvian Veloura Gold, these two have sired one Champion after another. The best known offspring of these, SA Peruvian Vanessa, is a 5-time Color Champion, 3-time Reserve Champion and multiple Blue Ribbon Winner. Among their other stellar offspring is SA Peruvian Velina Gold, Champion at the 2002 OABA Alpacafest and various Blue Ribbon winner who was a top seller to Maple Brook Alpacas in the 2002 Peruvian Classic Sale. Most recently, his sister SA Peruvian Valinka was sold at the AAA Futurity Auction to Don and Julie Skinner. Already a proven stud, Valente’s offspring have just started hitting the ground and will be entering the show ring soon. He has passed on defined, high frequency crimp from skin to tip – from the top of their head to the tip of their tail. Now is the perfect time to bring these genetics home, and profit from a breeding to a pedigree full of Champion genetics!

We struck gold on this one! When we decided to breed our color champion grey female to Accoyo Michelangelo we knew that combination could produce a spectacular animal and the is exactly what we got!! Mom is PLF Peruvian Enigma, a dark rose grey who has a very accomplished show career which includes 3 blues – one of which was at NATIONALS in the composite class – AND she also took a purple banner at North Illinois Alpaca Extravaganza in the halter class. Dad – well his is what is undeniably one of the best herdsires of the US herd. El Nino’s Accoyo Michelangelo is off the charts and has broken the mold. Intrigue is the spitting image of Michelangelo – except in a modern dark rose grey – proven with the banner taken at OABA Alpacafest. This guy is ½ Accoyo with the sweetest most mild temperament, just like dad. The gentle stunning male emulates royalty. He is strong and reserved with runway model conformation and fleece. He is square and typey and takes consistency to a different level. Open his fleece anywhere and you will be stumped to find anything other than super dense, tight zipper crimp, and extreme fineness with superb consistency of color in the most beautiful modern rose grey you could ever ask for. Intrigue had an excellent show career winning multiple Championships. Take a look at the pics – and then get your hands on him – we are sure that he will undoubtedly become a big player on the half Accoyo modern rose grey scene. Intrigue has settled his first female and the cria is due in fall 2012. We can hardly wait!!!!

Description

When a breeding hits right it is AWESOME!!! This is exactly what we knew happened when Graycyn Rose of Breezy Meadows was born. We bred our 6th generation grey and ultra fine female to one of the most elite herdsires in the United States, SA Peruvian Valente, who passes dense, bright and high frequency crimp to his offspring. Graycyn carries some hard hitting names in her lineage make up. Her sire, SA Peruvian Valente is a stud worthy of being a king with exquisite fiber characteristics like fineness, soft handle, brightness, bold and high frequency crimp that pops once you finally get his fleece spread apart. His background includes PPPeruvian Royal Fawn (Elite Full Accoyo), Royal Peruvian Apollo and Peruvian Veloura Gold. The combination of Apollo and Veloura have produced many champion offspring, and Valente is no exception, making him one of Stachowski’s most popular herdsires as well as one of the judges favorites! Graycyn’s dam is our very own SA Jewell’s Palladia who has many highly sought after qualities we all seek out in a production dam. She is 6 generations deep of grey making ancestory. She is also armed with major names on her sire side, Snowmass Nova’s Eclipse. He is a bay black male out of two black exceptionally elite parents and has produced a majority of female offspring, ALL of who are either black or grey!!! Eclipse’s dam was hand selected by Snowmass at import. She sparkles with extreme fineness in true black carrying a 21.6 micron at 2 years old. Eclipse’s sire is Snowmass Nova – he is part of the “Snowmass Elite Line” and carried an average micron diameter of 16.5 at 2 years old in bay black! He is a true gem and proves it by his awards including AOBA National Color Champion as well as AAA Futurity Color Champion. Nova’s sire is the one of a kind Snowmass Peruvian Casanova – a medium rose grey full Peruvian who is not only out of two white parents, but has some of the best known and well respected genetics. Casanova not only carried an 18.3 micron at 3 years old, but also won AOBA National Color Champion as well as AAA Futurity Herdsire of the year! Graycyn is a stylish gal who takes the cake when it comes to the cute factor with Cleopatra flirty eyes. She is an averaged sized girl with superb conformation, straight lines, flawless bite and great typiness. Her fleece is everything you would dream – high frequency, fine, dense and bright. We searched high and low for the perfect match for Graycyn’s first breeding and finally decided on PLF Michelangelo’s Intrigue d’Peru. Intrigue is a full Peruvian, ½ Accoyo, El Nino’s Michelangelo son, who exemplifies and encompasses all that is Michelangelo but in a modern rose grey - he has his amazing look, extreme density, fineness, high frequency crimp, blinding brightness, heavy bone, spot on conformation. Gracie had her first cria in October and was very happy with the results of her breeding to Intrique. Coco has beautiful fiber... We we
