Yuma of Long Hollow - Deceased

SuriMaleMedium Brown
AOA# 1191189DOB: 9/22/200519 yrs
Take a look at his offspring's history and you will see why we loosing our Yuma in September 2019 was so difficult. This is a very dense yet very soft fleeced male. He is one of our last 2 breedings with PPeruvian Angel before he died. This is the kind of fleece that you have to dig through to get to the skin. But when you do there's the luster you are looking for. "Yuma" stands for "Chief's son" and he has the same solid bone and build of his sire. His dam is Alpha (a Papacito/Penelope offspring) Which makes Yuma full Peruvian, 1/4 Accoyo. Alpha is a half sister to Admiral's Commander. We have bred Yuma to our MacGuyver girls since he is totally unrelated. He passes on the body & the fiber that got him a 1st at AOBA & 1st at the Futurity.

Dam: White Knight's Dark Lady

White Knight's Dark Lady

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30387959DOB: 11/14/200519 yrs
"Bella" is how she is known around here. Wonderful conformation, fine fleeced, out of a 6Peruvian Crown Royale son, Crown Royales White Knight. Bred to one of our foundation dams, the very fine fleeced peruvian import Empresaria. She's the girl that stands and looks at you when you come in the barn. Proud, Erect and very smart. Bella is Dark Lady's nickname. Beautiful is the perfect nickname, Her photo has graced newspapers and magazines. It started as an add photo for the Ky Classic Alpaca Show and ended up on the cover of the Weekend section of the paper. Then she got second place at AOBA nationals Photo contest in the cria group. Her photo was chosen as the grand prize winner in the La Belle Premier Select photo contest. Voted on by nearly 1500 viewers. Density from her Accoyo background, Luster from her Sire, Presence and Color from her dam. Bella's MFD is 22.6 micron. She's a Beauty!

Description

Sold to Georgian Oaks Farm LHSA Phoenix is that wonderful boy who comes when you call him, wants you to pet his neck, and will give kisses to the farm visitors… and on top of that he has top notch luster covering his long and tightly twisted locks. He has great consistency even at his young age, and is looking like he will follow his sire, Yuma of Long Hollow, into a great show career.
