Description

Macgyver’s incredible True Black boys have produced yet another show quality True Black Boy – Cynister by Sniper! In 2008 Sierra Bonita’s Peruvian Sniper was National Color Champion! Sniper not only won the National color championship, but it was his 17th championship at AOBA sanctioned shows. Sniper made history with the most halter championships for an Alpaca under the age of 2. Cynister has both luster and density, the two most important characteristics in a true black Suri male. Cynister by Sniper was biopsied as a 4 year old. Cynister’s density is 42.75 follicles SQ MM of skin with an S/P ratio of 7.9 to 1. His secondary fibers average 30.9 microns and primary fibers average 39.7 microns for a spread of 8.8 microns. Great density! Cynister has full coverage from head to toe. When he was shorn, our shearer slowed down and said one word… “Wow!” He averages 6-7 pounds of quality fiber each year! Unfortunately, Cynister by Sniper, is related to too many of our Black females and so he needs a home where he could breed. We continue to use his black fleece for yarn production every year.
