Hemingway's Tequila is the offspring of a superior dam, Peruvian Ayabaca, and the famous Peruvian Hemingway. He represents all the phenotypic expressions of those elite genetics that you would expect. He is alert, displays Constitutional vigor, is well-proportioned, has good bone, and finishes off the package with cover to the grass and a beautiful head. But you must add his super fine fiber to the equation, which tested 15.8 microns at 12 months and 16.9 microns at 24 months! This fleece is spectacular. It is organized into tight, bundled staples that are blessed with high Frequency crimp. Alpaca fleece like Tequila's is worshipped worldwide in famous fashion houses for its superior softness and handle. Including Tequila, Hemingway has produced many Cornerstone Elite Herdsires including: Snowmass Royal Rose, PCA Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus, Mister Antonio, and many Studmaster Males. Tequila is passing his exceptional traits down to his progeny. To date Tequila has produced offspring that have won over 60 Color Champ, Reserve, or First Ribbons in the show ring! Tequila has also produced many working Herdsires: Tequila Sunrise, Tequila’s Victor Light, MSA Cuervo Gold and Newaukum Creek's Pere Ubu to name a few.

HUMMINGHERD'S MIRADORA

HuacayaOpen (Female)White
AOA# 835451DOB: 4/27/200222 yrs
Last fall we had the opportunity to breed her to the multiple color champion, Isaac. We're really looking forward to the birth of her fall cria. It's a handsome white male. Eagle Valley Mirado is winning blue in the ring. Look for him as a yearling during 2010 shows. It's a Flash boy for Miradora in 2009. Eagle Valley Strob is brilliant white and very dense like his sire. We bred Miradora to Tequila once and are waiting until Spring for an ultrasound. We were lucky this time. With only one breeding, Miradora gave us a beautiful female cria that is looking like she'll be part of the show team. Watch for Eagle Valley Miracle at the Spring shows. Miradora gave us our last cria of 2011. It's a boy from Flash and he's looking very nice so far. Eagle Valley Micro went to a new home in Oregon last year. He also won the Alpacapalooza Reserve Color Champion of 2014 in that tough white class. Miradora also gave us another Flash offspring in 2014. A full brother to Micro, we'll see if he can measure up to his successful older sibling.
