Nova's Gold has been the key to our success hands down. It's time to let someone else benefit from his unsurpassed ability to stamp true alpaca type to any female's cria. We have not listed a price because we want to make sure he goes to a good home and we will price him right for the best home for him. So call us and we'll talk. He's a 2x 1st Place GET OF SIRE with his first few crias against some awesome competition! His cria's are winning Championships! What can he do for your dams? He has proven that he not only improves fleece, adding fine fleeced density, allowing color to pass through BUT stamps them with his uniformity, typy head, muzzle, coverage, and flawless solid conformation. His black gene is strong, but his white crias from white dams are taking ribbons too. His crias are typically very hardy and friendly, a trait we LOVE! Nova's Gold is Snowmass Nova's fine, dense, full fleeced son out of a Sollacata Peruvian dam. He's a multi-Champion, elite fleeced, strong boned, well balanced, flawlessly conformed male. His maternal Granddam was Snowmass Alpaca's top Black female 6Peruvian Silent Night, with rare Sollocata bloodlines. His sire Nova has fineness and density would to put the vast majority of white animals to shame. A true elite black Herdsire. Fiber Test at age 2: 16.5, 2.9, 17.6, 0.6. Nova's Gold is very uniform in fleece, exhibiting consistency and fineness with no primary (guard hair) extension past the blanket. He carries a high frequency crimp with high secondary follicle density along with all the characteristics of elite fleece. His CURV is 43.5. People who've had the chance to put their hands on him love his extreme density along with his awesome hand, brightness, and fineness. Nova's Gold's sire won Herdsire of the Year 2005! His grandsire Casanova held that title in 2003! Lineage: Snowmass Nova, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Peruvian Bueno, Peruvian Drambuie, Snowmass Drambuie's Kahlua, and 6Peruvian Silent Night.

Description

Bright – Fine – Dense – Defined consistent character skin to tip. Bundling. Large boned. Great conformation. Great teeth. Judge Amanda VandenBosch described him as having that perfect boxy true to type conformation. Takoda is just that cliché of “everything good rolled into one package. We have high hopes for this boy, and so far we have not been disappointed!!! His sire Snowmass Nova’s Gold is a 2x Get of Sire champ and Takoda is a perfect example of why! Takoda is one of those fawn boys that we think is so great to add to a colored breeding program. Like his sire, he will give you the exceptional fleece of a lighter animal with the deep black, brown, and grey color genetics that stand behind him. Takoda has fabulous fleece, great bone structure, and excellent coverage. His fiber shines, his crimp is consistent.
