Durazno and Inca bloodlines with dense fleece full of luster, locks and heavy coverage. Joe is full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo with that true Peruvian look. Joe is throwing white to medium brown cria. All his cria have been extremely vigrous at birth. Joe has a nice personality to work with and is a polite yet confident breeder. He has an astounding show career- winning 2nd place at the AOBA National show in Kentucky in 2003. He has been able to pass on his luster, density and coverage with every cria. Joe had several cria in the show ring last year and again this year. All did very well winning Blue and Red Ribbons.Joe's Vanilla Latte has begun her show cria this year and has placed 2nd in a class of five (Alpacamania) and 1st place in her class at Alpacapalooza. Melitta placed 2nd in a large class at AWE in 2006, the only show she was shown in. Double Shot placed 2nd at the Great Western show in Denver in 2006. "This is Waterlily" took 2nd place in a large class of white at Denver in 2006. Look for Melitta and Latte at Heart of the Valley this year. Joe's offspring have inheritied his nice personality and his denisty. Joe's last three crias have been light or medium brown - proving he throws color even if bred to white of light fawn. Joe passed away in 2017. He had a long life and lots of fun creating babies. We are very sad to lose him, but are very happy to have several of his many, many offspring still in our herd. UT is Joe's son that will be his replacement. UT has excellent bloodlines and superior fleece.

Description

WOW! What a powerhouse of awesome genetics. Quite A Looker is very worthy of showing off her heritage. She has great density and inherited excellent luster from her sire Jumpin Joe Flash, a son of full Accoyo Viceroy. We are impressed with Looker's stature, substance of bone and expect she will be an excellent mother with easy births. Lots of 2P (PPeruvian) lineage in her pedigree. The 2P imports were the very best to come into the U.S. and her line includes Inca, Rita, Uribe, Augustina, Elar, and Nieves. On 'Looker's maternal side she has genetics not often seen on the West Coast and we are thrilled to introduce these into our herd. Quite a Looker's sire Jumpin Joe Flash has been the main stay for Starr Alpaca Farms award winning offspring. He passes on his traits of luster, density and coverage with every cria. 'lots of great colors coming through even when he was bred to white. Quite A Looker's Dam is Gracie a favorite foundation female owned by Starr Alpaca Farm. Gracie is a beautiful full Peruvian with a graceful presence. Gracie's Sire is Supremo, a dark maroon. Gracie's half brother is Aspen Ace, a black herdsire at Cloudy Pass. Gracie has produced numerous award winning cria. She is bred to our 5th Generation Color Champion, Placido of PVA for a 2015 cria.
