We took our Champion true black dam, Briar Rose's Aurora and bred her to seven time champion Commander In Chief to get Briar Rose's Grand Slam. At barely six months old Grand Slam was placed 4th out of 14 at the 2007 Futurity. He matured into a stunning yearling taking 1st Place at VAOBA, NAAS, MAPACA and PAOBA shows in the 3"- 8" halter class, and 1st Place in the 2008 PAOBA Fleece Show, showing his juvenile fleece. Eve is a full sister to the infamous King Kong and daughter of the now diseased Panam's Midas Touch IMPD98. Eve's 2008 cria Briar Rose's Lola (sired by Captain Morgan's BlackBeard) won 1st Place in her halter class and Reserve Color Champion at the 2009 MABA Show. Eve is now being bred to Briar Rose's Grand Slam, another one of our true black herd sires and a Blue Ribbon winner at MAPACA.
