After much deliberation we have decided to put BlackBeard up FOR SALE! BlackBeard is an absolutely stunning true black son of the infamous Captain Morgan. His fiber is extremely dense and lustrous and the color, as black as coal. BlackBeard has a very gentle demeanor that is so welcoming in a breeding male. We now have a few of his sons that we would like to get into our breeding program so it is time for BlackBeard to go to another home were he can do the work he loves so much. He has produced some awesome offspring in all colors, even grey! Looking for black genetics with an awesome bloodline. It's right here! His cria have been outstanding. We have added pictures of 5 of his Ribbon winning offspring, 3 of which where also Reserve Color Champions. BlackBeard is currently by Azzura Farms Alpacas in Narrandera NSW Australia .

Description

Bo comes from great bloodlines on both sides. His sire Captain Morgan's BlackBeard traces back through Captain Morgan and Macgyver to Bruxo. Bo's maternal grandsire is CPeruvian Accoyo Ace. What a gene pool! As a white alpaca I was reluctant to enter him in a show. He kept looking better and better to me as he matured but whites are very competitive and I was afraid I might be a little predudice in what I was seeing in him. Luckily I decided to show him anyway and entered him in the 2009 MABA Show in Westminster, MD. Bo walked away with 1st place in his halter class and Reserve Color Champion. I am happy to say that given the competition there would have been no shame in not winning these awards. The alpacas he was up against were tough competition, but it was Bo's day to shine.
