After much deliberation we have decided to put BlackBeard up FOR SALE! BlackBeard is an absolutely stunning true black son of the infamous Captain Morgan. His fiber is extremely dense and lustrous and the color, as black as coal. BlackBeard has a very gentle demeanor that is so welcoming in a breeding male. We now have a few of his sons that we would like to get into our breeding program so it is time for BlackBeard to go to another home were he can do the work he loves so much. He has produced some awesome offspring in all colors, even grey! Looking for black genetics with an awesome bloodline. It's right here! His cria have been outstanding. Empress has been bred to our true black herd sire Captain Morgan's BlackBeard many times and we have never been disappointed. This year Empress gave us another girl, we've named her Lucy. The offspring out of Empress x BlackBeard have done exceptional in Spin-offs and Fleece Shows. This could be another winner.

We took our Champion true black dam, Briar Rose's Aurora and bred her to seven time champion Commander In Chief to get Briar Rose's Grand Slam. At barely six months old Grand Slam was placed 4th out of 14 at the 2007 Futurity. He matured into a stunning yearling taking 1st Place at VAOBA, NAAS, MAPACA and PAOBA shows in the 3"- 8" halter class, and 1st Place in the 2008 PAOBA Fleece Show, showing his juvenile fleece.
