HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 31026307DOB: 5/31/200717 yrs
With her Vicuna genetics "Georgie" is incredibly fine and dense. Her line is out of Canada, and includes Legacy, Conclusive, Snowmass Legacy's Golden Boy, and Maxmilian II. Her vicuna like features include incredible fineness and hand, and she has the most beautiful eyes you've ever seen! But why take our word for it? For 2019 Georgie is in the top 1% EPDs for average fiber diameter, standard deviation, spin fineness, and percent of fiber over 30 micron. She is amazing! Her son, Jumpin' Jack Flash is in the top 1% of EPDs for spin fineness, and Matoskah -- what can we say that hasn't already been said?

Description

Jack seems to know he's something special. And look at his EPDs: Top 1% for SDAFD -- he's consistent and the yarn from his fleece is beautiful!! 2018 EPDs are available by clicking on the EPD link to the right. But why are we surprised? His mom, Georgianna of Legacy's Conclusive is in the top 1% of EPDs for fiber diameter, standard deviation for fiber diameter, spin fineness, and percent of fibers over 30 microns! Jack did great at the MAPACA 2016 fleece and spin-off shows! 3rd place in MAPACA fleece show: Judge Wade Gease gave him a 19/20 for fineness and handle and commented on his uniformity! AND Jack took a 5th place ribbon in the MAPACA Spin-off! The judge commented on the brightness, absence of guard hair, fineness and uniformity. She said he has a "pearly shine, a "silky" feel, and "beautiful handle" that is "wonderful to spin." Could have done with better skirting, and that is not HIS fault! We couldn't be more proud! Jack's first cria is on the ground and she is lovely! She looks just like her dad did when he was a cria. If you are breeding to make beautiful yarn, you won't go wrong with a breeding to Jack!
