Fiber and temperament all wrapped up in one amazing alpaca! Lucas has very dense, crimpy, bundly fleece in a beautiful medium fawn, the son of two award winning parents. His dam, MFI Carinthia is an El Mustachio granddaughter, a Futurity Champion and took the blue at MaPaca in a highly competitive fawn class, with fleece noted as soft and dense.Carinthia is still with us, at 19 years of age! Luc's sire is the famous Dom Lucilio (now deceased) who needs no introduction. People who see Lucas immediately know who his daddy is! Check out Luc's histogram! Lucas is a very competent herdsire, showing the confidence and presence in the pasture that a true herdsire exudes. He can throw color. His crias range from beige through fawn to true black! We do mobile breedings within 75 miles, too. He still has a few crias in his future. One of our favorites here.

We had planned to leave Galadriel open for six months to recuperate from nursing her big 2008 cria, Jake. After awhile, it became obvious that she was pregnant. Apparently she didn't agree with our plans for her, took advantage of a visiting herdsire, and produced her first female cria after three males. As soon as we saw Fran's coloring and soft fleece, we started scratching our heads to figure out who the sire could be. As soon as we checked the dates, we just knew it had to be Camelot, who always throws soft crias, and DNA tests proved it. The shearer said Fran's cria fleece was the softest she had ever shorn. She is a large, good looking alpaca. Check out her histogram and fiber stats! Awesome CV! Her first cria, sired by champion Luc's Spittin' Image, hit the deck running! Her 2015 female cria, by 17 time champion A.L. Paca's Revolution Grayson, is a gorgeous mahogany color and super soft. Fran is a good mother and can bring size, fiber fineness, consistency, good temperament and color to your herd.

Description

Panama Jack is quite the character. He has been a farm favorite since his birth. Always curious and friendly, he has a great time as official cria greeter. But not only does he have a great personality, but his fiber is dense and soft. A lovely medium fawn he is on a big frame, like his mom, and has great fiber, like both mom and dad. He has been adopted by Courtney.
