I fell in love with Splurge the first time I saw her. She was a young girl who had just arrived from Tillman's auction out west. Not knowing a lot about suris at the time, I decided to purchase her just because I liked her look and and she had genetics that were not around here. The first show she attended a couple of months later she brought home a color championship. She took a blue in just about every show after that (except for one where the shearing job she had received by an inexperienced shearer caused her to recieie a third place ribbon...the show judge mentioned the uneven length of her fleece.) This is a girl who not only passes on her incredible fleece density and luster, but she also passes along her laid-back personality to her babies. Her first cria, Tiger, is out of Chakota and took a third at the Small Breeder's Challenge, her first show. We didn't show her after that because of time constraints. Her second cria MGFA Masterpeace, is out of HHSF Lafite's Accoyo Mont Blanc. He has won a blue in every show except for the Futurity where he took a second place ribbon. He also received a reserve color champship at the Futurity. We liked his look so much we have repeated the breeding.
