SOLD - 3/4 Accoyo Apache II Daughter!

Accoyo America Lolita

SuriBred (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 30617339DOB: 8/27/200618 yrs
This is a gorgeous, full Peruvian, 75% Accoyo, color champion winning, full Apache daughter out of Pacific Crest Luminescence, one of Pacific Crest's finest production females. Lolita's dam was named for her high luster fleece, but Lolita may have exceeded it. When you part her independent locks, she literally shines. Unbelievable fiber, density, lock structure and conformation. With her density and lock definition on a very typey frame, we expected Lolita to produce champion quality offspring and she has done just that. Amanda VandenBosch, AOBA's top judge, stated that "Lolita is true to type phenotype for the suri alpaca; she is feminine yet has good type and style. Lolita has a silky handling fleece with luster and good nourishment. Her fleece is organized in its lock structure and has solidity through the lock." She birthed her first cria, Goldilocks, in July, 2009, sired by Sandollar's incomparable Cochise, one of the United States' dominant suri herdsires (now deceased), with an undefeated show career including the 2004 AOBA National Color Championship. And for 2012, she was bred to LCA Caden, our light fawn suri herdsire (proudly co-owned with Uber Ranch Alpacas and Alpaca Rose Ranch). We got a fabulous female that is nearly identical in color to her dam named Carmel that has already taken three blue ribbons and a color championship. Lolita delivered a fall, 2015 male cria sired by the incredible Seed Stock Suri's herdsire Stardust who has also ribboned in three shows. Come take a look for yourselves! She just birthed her latest cria sired by Kahuna's WAPU on July 1, 2017; you should see him! Spitting image of his father! After a year off, we bred her for a 2019 cria to our newest herdsire, Big Timber's Quebracho, an AOA Banner winner as well as a Futurity winner. This cria should be something!

Service Sire: Commandor's Defender of WAP

Commandor's Defender of WAP

SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 35139164DOB: 9/14/20159 yrs
Defender is a full brother to our 2024 Reserve Light AND Reserve Dark Herdsire of the Year NorthStar, whose outside breedings are closed - you'll have to buy a female bred to him or....buy his full brother! We didn't think we'd sell this boy but here's your chance! Got a good crop of cria on the ground!! Very happy with his production so far as are our customers! Defender has excellent conformation and all the positive traits we're breeding for in our suri herd. His show record is stellar, including six banners, in some of the largest shows in the country. He carries exceptional luster on a dense fleece with fineness and density rounding out his fleece traits. At 20 months of age, he sheared 12.6 lbs.! Defender is showing exceptional retention of positive fiber characteristics and a solid frame - all pointing towards a brilliant future as a herdsire, following in the footsteps of his sire, Admiral's Commandor. That boy is sorely missed on our farm but it looks like his sons will carry that torch going forward.

Description

Carmel is is our second female from LCA Caden, an Accoyo Rico son out of the Latah Creek breeding program bred to a Snowmass dam. At nine years of age, her EPDs are still in the top 1% in three categories and top 5% in two more! And she has produced two females and one male cria for us; both females took banners in the show ring! Carmel took three firsts at competitive classes at Palooza 2014 and PNAA 2013 and 2014 before retiring. We bred her to our incomparable Kahuna son, WAPU in 2015 and she produced a stunning female named Martha who as a juvie took 3 firsts and a CC, going on to take two championship banners at the Nationals in March, 2017, and winning the Futurity in April, 2017! Caramel was bred back to WAPU and delivered a FABULOUS male June 6, 2017, named Michael who looks for all the world like Martha did at this age; he went on to take a number of banners and ribbons during his show career and is now settled down in our herdsire row; we proudly co-own Michael now with Cindy Harris of Alpacas of Windy Hill! On September 15, 2018, she brought us a 24.5# duplicate of Martha, a stunning female we have named Heidi Anne in honor of Nikki's sister. Heidi Anne took the blue and a RCC at CABA 2019 in a class of 11! She was one of three females bred to WAP Admiral's Defender for a 2023 cria! Wow, Chloe arrived right on schedule and was the biggest cria ever born on our farm. We are excited to show all three Defender cria in 2024; our own Get of Sire Entry!
