Full ownership in Orlando is now available. See Orlando in motion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSagJk4leNs How many gray herdsires are out there who have produced offspring winning over 80 BANNERS, over 160 BLUE RIBBONS, and still producing CHAMPIONS? Orlando Cloud is a stunning male who has without a doubt helped boost the quality of gray huacayas to new heights. So often a male shines for a few years, and then is overtaken by higher quality. Not so with Orlando. In 2008 his offspring began winning top honors, and since then at almost every large show his offspring, and now grand kids and great grand kids, continue to bring home banners and blues. Gray Alpaca Co. recently had four Orlando offspring in a row, and this group is simply outstanding. We can't wait to see them in the show ring. At the October Empire Extravaganza in Syracuse, NY, his offspring won two CHAMPIONSHIPS, including Gray Championship in fleece, and a RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP, along with 4 Blue Ribbons. He continues to stamp out high quality crias. Orlando's accomplishments are many, and he was named HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR 2013, and 2014. This award is based on the number of points accrued by winning offspring at MAPACA, to date the largest show in 2013. Here is the new standard for gray! Orlando stands above the rest with his consistent, dense architecture from his tail to his topknot. The judges have raved about this male from the time he hit the show circuit, and his offspring are now following in his footsteps with multiple Championships and Reserve Championships. When bred to gray or black his cria's colors have been primarily gray, and he has also shown the ability to throw gray out of fawn. Orlando's stud fee is $5,000, with generous discounts for drive by breedings. For details please contact Nancy at [email protected] or Jeff at [email protected]. Offspring Show Wins Update: Orlando offspring were first shown in 2008, and to date they have won over 80 Color Championships/ Reserve Championships, and over 160 Blue Ribbons! Service Sire: Royal Riptide

3/4 Accoyo Gray multi banner winner!!

Royal Riptide

HuacayaJr. Herdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# DOB: 12/28/201112 yrs
Royal Riptide is what we all breed for in grey. He has extreme density and extreme fineness, which is complimented by his very well defined, consistent crimp. He is conformationally sound, and has exceptional bone. He is also a rare alpaca due to the fact that he is 3/4 accoyo. There are not many tuxedo silver grey alpacas out there with that amount of accoyo in their background. Royal Riptide is a genetic powerhouse. Anyone serious about breeding alpacas will recognize his sire full accoyo Royal Fawn. Some would argue that no other alpaca in the country has had as much impact on the industry as PPPeruvian Royal Fawn. His progeny boast 108 known champions and 329 blue ribbons in every solid color group. PPPeruvian Royal Fawn was the 1999 and 2000 "Get-of-Sire" winner at the AOBA National Show, and record breaking highest selling male in alpaca history in October, 2005. On ARI, Royal Fawn has 450 registered offspring. Including Royal Riptide only ten are grey. His dam is our 4 time fleece champ Gracy. Gracy is a phenomenal example of a high quality grey animal. She has tons of crimp and fineness. She proved her worth by winning the color championship at Mapaca and the Green Mountain Fall Alpaca Spectacular for her fleece!!!! Her score for the fleece show was an 87% out of 100!!! Also, she took a reserve banner for her fleece at Aoba nationals! Her stats read like a high quality white animal!!! She showed at the NJ Alpaca Show and Sale and Judge Wade Gease exclaimed that her fleece was "terribly exciting" and "you don't normally see this kind of fleece even in a white animal!" Gracy's genetics are incredible. They include MSA Peruvian Brunello, PCA Spartacus, Peruvian Camillio, MSA Peruvian Accoyo Santino, Peruvian Hemmingway, Peruvian Dracula, Aussie Rockford, Peruvian Felix, and the Silversmith. Does a pedigree really get any better? It's safe to say that he is a rare color for the genetics he carries. Special thanks to Nancy and everyone at Double "O" Good Alpacas for donating this breeding to the Mapaca vet program, and all of the FREE help and direction they've given us, we really do appreciate it.
