Tealwater Sunshine Brilliance

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 30608146DOB: 3/8/200618 yrs
Sunshine was the first cria born on our farm, and what an amazing female she is! Her dam was a dark brown Peruvian import found to produce gorgeous fawns when bred to fawn. Her sire, Brilliance of Peru, was featured for several years in Alpacas Of America's ads in Alpaca Magazine as one of their top huacaya herdsires. Brilliance combines Alianza bloodlines with Accoyo and the results are awesome! His offspring typically command a higher price even in today's economy. Sunshine herself is even better than her sister, Rainie who was sired by Ion. Sunshine has beautiful, dense, fine bright fleece, and a super gentle disposition. She has given us two exceptional crias. Her first cria was a male named Dream Weaver who began his show career at the 2009 Michigan International Alpaca Fest (MIAF) and earned a 2nd place. To take our breeding program even higher, Sunshine was bred to CPeruvian Accoyo Express. Her second cria, Tealwater's Brilliance Expressed, stood near the front of the class in his first shows up against elite competition, and earned a Reserve Champion. Affectionately known as "Bernie" he is a strong potential herd sire - take a look at Tealwater's Jupiter to see what he can produce.

Description

This young male began his show career at MIAF in 2009. The light color group is very competitive, yet in his first show Weaver earned a 2nd place. His second show was even larger, IAA where he competed against males from some of the largest, most well established farms. At IAA he placed 5th out of seven, and received compliments from Judge Wade Gease on his wonderful soft handle and great huacaya phenotype. Weaver is calm and easy to show, just a very sweet natured boy!! He has thick coverage down his legs, and the softest handle, bright and fine, tightly crimped fleece, with the crimp running all the way up his neck into his bonnet. Add in his wonderful, gentle disposition, and what's not to love? Weaver doesn't mind being petted, in fact he is our "visitor" alpaca for tour groups to pet and have pictures taken beside. He hails from superior bloodlines, starting with his mother, Tealwater Sunshine Brilliance. Sunshine brings the best of Alpacas of America's stock from Washington State to Michigan. Her sire, Brilliance of Peru, combines Accoyo with Alianza bloodlines and the results are stunning. Sunbshine is an exceptional light fawn female. Weaver's sire Maximus is 3/4 Accoyo and a Color Champion, a grandson of Legacy on his father's side, and Royal Fawn on his mother's side. Talk about proven genetics!
