We knew he was great from the first time we saw him as a juvenile in the show ring. But it took us a few years to finally acquire him for our own herdsire line up and he's been batting 1000 with his progeny! Grand Slam is a 3/4 Accoyo, Full Peruvian medium fawn with blinding luster which he passes on to his cria. He's amazingly dense with beautifully fine fleece. He's built like a tank with perfect, compact conformation. And his disposition is akin to that of a golden retriever. He really is everything you would want in a superior male Suri alpaca. Hundreds of alpaca owners got to see him in the stud raffle at the 2010 MAPACA Jubilee where he was named Suri Herdsire of the Year! Durango’s Peruvian Mezzmerize....such a fitting name for a stunningly beautiful suri female! Her dam is a beautiful fawn, Marilynn Monroe, and her sire is the well-known mahogany multiple champion, Durango. Mezzie has very dense, lustrous fleece with very well defined, thick locks, and a calm and even temperament. She is very well grown with strong bone and perfect conformation. She has been shown many times and has multiple ribbons including 6 Blues! Mezzie birthed her first cria without any difficulty on Halloween 2011, a beautiful dense curly fleeced little fawn female, "Halloween Candy". She is a terrific mother and would love to be re-bred! We have been holding off due to herd size reduction needs. Mezzie's purchase will include a free breeding to one of our suri herdsires which you may use on any of your females.

HALLOWEEN CANDY – “Candy” is a fawn suri female with fine, dense fleece. Her sire is KHF Grand Slam owned by a Suri Farm, and her dam is our multiple blue ribbon winning fawn girl, Durango’s Peruvian Mezzmerize. She has very good bloodlines and is conformationally sound. Although we love her fleece, it does not show the highly independent lock structure to the skin that is winning in the show ring. Her lock has wonderful twist and luster, however. Candy is a big-framed girl…very sweet temperament and calm. She will be a wonderful foundation girl when breeding age. Attributes include: -Color is a solid light fawn with darker skin. -Very soft fiber with good locking and luster consistent throughout her blanket. - Solid conformation, good legs and teeth. - Great health and growth since birth. -Sire and dam are both reproductively sound. - Candy sells with a breeding for her or another of your females. If desired, she can be bred to one of our herdsires before buyer takes possession. She will be of breeding age in spring, 2013.
