32400489<--ari-->Light Rose Grey<--color-->Grenadine is an alpaca unlike any other we have had. Since we ventured into rose greys a couple of years ago, we are learning more about their color possibilities. Grenadine's sire is the well known Premier's Absolute, and her dam is Mistral, the first grey alpaca we purchased back in 1999. She is from the original Patagonia herd and has been bred to grey studs every year, and every year has produced a light silver grey cria. This year a light, light rose grey/light fawn popped out, and she has exceptional promise! Her fleece is silky fine, nubby, crimpy and dense, and her early histogram seen at left is excellent. We aren't sure how she will color check at this point, however, because of her coloring and markings, I suspect she will behave as a rose grey when it comes to breeding. She also has a sweet personality and holds her own with the hormone packed boy crias we have this year. Birth was easy, she has been lively and vigorous, and as always her dam has lots of milk and excellent mothering skills. Her dam is a multi Blue Ribbon winner as are many of her offspring. <--description-->
