Together she and Montoya have produced six dark-colored, championship-worthy crias, among them Ursala (2005), Mariska (2007), and Makayla (2008). Ursula was the 2007 AOBA Nationals Brown Color CHAMPION and 2007 Futurity Brown Color CHAMPION. Her 2010 cria, Magnum of PVA, is a stunning male, also by Montoya. Marushka has much to offer as a production female: a sensible temperament, mothering experience, and healthy crias. She was been rebred to Montoya for a 2012 cria. If it ain't broke, we don't fix it! Marushka gave birth to a dark brown female cria on June 24th 2012. Her cria, Mariquita, has mischievously sparkling eyes and loves to follow the humans around when they are in her pasture. "Rocky" as he's known around the pasture, is jet black with luster to burn! His shiny locks display his rich pedigree including Macgyver, Kobe, Silver Shadow (oh yeah, he's got some gray in his line-up)--not to mention his sire, Multi-True Black Color Champion AWH Boreas. Rocky won the Reserve Color Champion at the International Alpaca Odyssey-as a previously shorn suri--competing with full-fleece. The judge complemented Rocky on his density, re-growth, fineness, lock and luster--is there anything else? Oh yea, very sound build..... Rocky finished the show season with 1st place at the AOBA National Show-again complimented on his consistant lock and luster in his re-growth. 6 shows-6 blue ribbons for Rocky.... UPDATE!!! Rocky is settling his first females! Crias due this fall!!! While we've retired Rocky to a rough life of breeding, his fleece has continued in the shows--it's all about the fleece! His second coat just took 1st at the Gold Counrty Gathering Spin off! Rocky was just shorn--his third fleece weighed 8lbs and it still had his wonderful luster and handle!
