Compadre's Creme Brulee

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Brown
AOA# 850766DOB: 8/8/200321 yrs
Creme Brulee is a very dense and crimpy brown male with great conformation and great genes. He is a multiple ribbon winner as well. His dam is a Peruvian Altiplano Gold daughter with superb density. His sire is an award winning sire at Alpacas de la Patagonia and has sired many ribbon winners! We have no doubt that Creme Brulee will follow in his father's footsteps. Come see him today! Update January 2011: Creme Brulee is now proven having sired two very nice daughters here on our farm. He is 2 for 2 for girls so far! Creme's price has been reduced due to a knee injury. He is still capable of breeding, although we would prefer not to add any more stress to his injury. He will require ongoing treatment with anti inflammatory medication for arthritis as he gets older. He will only be sold to someone willing to provide him with appropriate medical care and a loving retirement home. December 2014 -- Sadly, Creme passed away this year. We will leave his information up on the site under our foundation herd as a reference sire for his offspring.

Dam: ALR's Juliette

Royal Fawn Genetics!

ALR's Juliette

HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Silver Grey, Bay Black
AOA# 1050875DOB: 5/30/200420 yrs
Juliette is a wonderful mom who has produced three amazing cria here on our farm. Her 2009 male cria is now in our herdshire lineup and her 2010 female cria also went into production this year. Juliette is a larged boned girl, with remarkable density. We are thrilled with the offspring this Royal Fawn great grand daughter has produced so far and look forward to her cria. We gave her a break in 2012 due to the late arrival of her 2010 cria as we did not want another winter baby here in the northwest. Julie's 2013 cria is an amazing medium brown (possibly rose gray) female. Now that we have two of Julie's daughters on the farm, we are offering Julie at a reduced price. If you are looking for a proven female, with Royal Fawn genetics at an affordable price, this girl is for you! Excellent mom! Julie's 2014 cria was another femaie. She has produced 3 females in a row. Julie is now available. We may consider a package deal including her 2014 female cria, Bria. Purchase her now and choose her next herdsire. She has not yet been bred for the upcoming cria season, purchase price includes two breedings to your choice of our fully owned herdsires. (Bred plus one additional breeding, or two future breedings.)

Service Sire: MSA Peruvian Bertolini

Full Peruvian Hemingway Son

MSA Peruvian Bertolini

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn, Light Brown
AOA# 30890404DOB: 8/15/200618 yrs
Wow...if you are looking for top quality genetics, look no further than Bertolini. With Hemingway as his sire, that would be enough, but there's more to his story. This handsome boy also has Peruvian Pachacuti as his grandsire and Felix as his great grandsire on his Dam's side. His fiber is amazing, very dense and crimpy. His 2007 histogram was: 17.4 - 3.5 - 20.1 - 0.7. We are expecting great things out of this boy and cannot wait to add him to our breeding program. 2011 Update: Our beloved Bert began his breeding career in 2010, settling his first female with one try. His first cria will hit the ground July 2011. 2013 Update: Bert's first cria did hit the ground in 2011 and she is stunning. He had his first son that Cashew decided to deliver during National Alpaca Farm Days. This little guy is full of promise. 2015: We are reducing Bertolini's sale price as we now have his son and daughter on the farm, and additional animals with related genetics. We may pull him back into our foundation herd as the genetic makeup of the herd evolves, so if you are interested in a Hemingway son, this is your chance! His fiber is still holding well, he has been able to maintain his density and his 2012 AFD was 23.8. His current EPD rankings are provided on the fiber stats page.

Description

Ah Mysti. Named Mystere as your daddy was quite the mystery due to a gate crashing incident. Even though you were not the planned breeding we had in mind for your mom, it appears that you mom knew better! We could not have planned a better result. You got Creme Brulee's over the top density and your mom's Royal Fawn lineage came through again. We are still not sure why you are beige, though. That's ok, that WR2 fleece is amazing and you've grown into one of the most beautiful girls on this farm. You've come a long way from the mystery cria born in November with funny ears that had to wear two cria coats just to stay warm in the Thanksgiving snow.
