Lancelot's Cove

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Fawn
DOB: 6/15/200816 yrs
Lancelot's Cove is 7/8 Accoyo from two incredible parents. Some of those greats in his pedigree include Accoyo Lancelot, Accoyo Leon, Accoyo Top Dog, Camilio, Acomayo and PPeruvian Victor. He has excellent coverage, density and lustrous crimpy fine fleece. His perfect build and gorgeous head add to this Top quality young male. Cove's sire Accoyo Lancelot has produced wonderful cria with fantastic color and the softest fleece. I like Lancelot so much I've acquired three males from him: Lancelot's Cove, Lancelot's Pride and Kozaccoyo. The Prince "Lancelot" is now the King since the passing of his sire Accoyo Leon. PPeruvian Leon was born at Accoyo Ranch, home of Don Julio Barreda. His ancestors have been rigorously selected since 1946. Leon is a striking dark fawn color of perfect uniformity and is famous for being the darkest Accoyo ever imported. His fleece measured 19.9 microns at three years of age. His head is perfectly balanced and his proud presence is breathtaking. Leon has produced a black 3/4 Accoyo out of a white Felix daughter. Accoyo Leon's daughter Morgan sold for $100,000 at the 2006 AOBA National Conference. You will see Accoyo Leon on some of this country's finest Alpaca Pedigrees. He truly is one amazing Accoyo known for his color throwing abilities. Lancelot's Cove's dam Fir Cove Jesica is a light Fawn beauty and has been a great producer of density, color and bundling fleece. She is a 3/4 Accoyo Foundation Queen and the Granddaughter of Accoyo Camilio and Accoyo Victor. Jesica is the daughter of Accoyo Top Dog, the product of Two Grand Champion Producers. Full Accoyo Camilio with his rich dark coloring and Acoymayo came together to produce the future of Accoyo genetics in Top Dog. He is an amazing stud and another one I'm fond of. I have him in more than one of my alpacas' pedigrees. Top Dog has Density unimaginable, Crimp exploding, and Herdsire royalty personality. Top Dog has passed on this regal Accoyo appeal and beautiful Accoyo typey topknot to all his offspring. He is rare indeed with Accoyo color blanketing his superior crimp. Fir Cove Jesica's grandsire is Victor, the youngest male that arrived in the Peruvian importation of 1994, and in the words of Dr. Jim Vickers, had the "most beautiful fleece". Victor's fleece swept the awards in the 1995 AOBA National Fleece Show, garnering awards ofr Best Growth Huacaya, Most Uniform Huacaya, Best Crimp Huacaya, Spinner's Choice, and Cottage Industry's Choice. At the 1997 AOBA National Fleece Show, Victor's fleece took first place for Adult Fawn Huacaya, and overall Knitter's Choice Huacaya. Victor shears an incredible 14 pounds per year with over 8 pounds of blanket, and a staple length over 6 inches. The hallmarks of Victor offspring are superior crimp, density and luster. They have won numerous awards and championship. With this pedigree, it shouldn't be a surprise that Lancelot's Cove has fleece to die for. We anxiously

Dam: J&J's Victoria

Full Chilean Tuxedo Grey Cutie!

J&J's Victoria

HuacayaOpen (Female)White, Dark Silver Grey
DOB: 5/21/201014 yrs
Full Chilean Victoria is the absolute sweetest alpaca we have. Just look at her headshot and you can see her big mascara eyes! She's a Medium Tuxedo Grey out of a Medium Silver Grey sire and a Medium Rose Grey mother. She has incredibly dense, soft fleece and she should throw color. She's bred for the first time to our Silver Charming Reo, a Dark Grey handsome man. Victoria and our Ebony Ice share El Francisco as a sire. He is a proven herdsire who has thrown his great fleece and color. He's a Silver Grey with no other color in his blanket. As a yearling, "Frisco" won both first place and Reserve Color Championship ribbons at the 2001 Estes Park Wool Market under Judge Susan Tellez. He has wonderful conformation as well. El Francisco's sire is Light Silver Grey Ubina's Rudolph Valentino 167482 and his mother is Medium Rose Grey Francesca 810903, Mother of Champions. Francesca is out of Light Silver Grey Esteban - Allavocone and her mother is Dark Rose Grey Sala - Parajalla 171198. Sala - Parajalla is the mother of Pacifica's Shazaam, Multi-Champion Grey Herdsire. Shazaam has won 8 Championships and many Blue Ribbons. Francesca has such a strong color background for gray that she has never thrown anything but grey or black! One of her first crias, a solid grey male, won the Reserve Championship at Estes Park and her 2005 male took the Reserve Grey Championship at the Oklahoma show. Her daughters both have taken Reserve Championships in Fleece shows and her granddaughter did well in the ring. In other words, she has produced nothing but excellence. Victoria's mother, RNA Welcome's Little Rose, is a Medium Rose Grey. She is out of Beige/Light Fawn Welcome Stranger 111134 and True Black Richnes Ebonique 137734. Victoria's grandsire Welcome Stranger of New Zealand is a well-known sire of nearly 100 cria and a vast majority of his crias have been beautifully colored with his great conformation. We expect something special from Victoria and Silver Charming Reo. All breedable females come with two free breed-backs to your choice of our herdsires. We have some lovely up and comers we are excited about.
