She is a gorgeous TB and crimpy little girl! Hope all is well with you. The Reverend sure produced a beautiful baby for me and I could not be happier! Etta is a very good Mother and the baby is absolutely adorable!" Thanks, Roxane Rudick "We had a drop dead gorgeous dark brown baby girl today from The Reverend Mr. Black. I couldn't be happier with her. If you would like I wll email pictures when they are developed." Warm regards, Becky Sproul Thunder Heart Alpaca Ranch "Hi Sharon - I wanted to compliment you on yet another fine offspring of The Reverend. I am SO happy we bred Holli to him to produce our little Moses last year. I updated his picture on AN under foundation herd, but I need to get some more on there. Rick and I sheared him today, and he was just breathtaking. He felt like heaven, and dense! Rick said he'd never seen such complete coverage - like all under his armpits, inside of his back legs, all over his belly, even right up to his testicles and other "business" parts. We love him! We couldn't be more pleased with this little guy!" Dam: Ruby Rose (SOLD)

Dam of Champion Mile High Deacon Grey!

Ruby Rose (SOLD)

HuacayaBred (Female)Light Rose Grey
AOA# 836406DOB: 6/29/200222 yrs
Ruby Rose: She is the dam of the famous grey herd sire, Mile High Deacon Grey who we sold for $90,000. Ruby Rose holds a very special place in our hearts. We purchased her from a broker who was having trouble putting weight on her. At nine months of age she was only 40 pounds. They offered me to take her for a very reasonable price subject to passing a veterinarian's exam. She passed and Sharon Loner purchased her. I took her home, nursed her to health and sure enough she blossomed into the GWAS Grey Female Color Champion! Ruby Rose has provided our herd with outstanding show quality offsrping. She's been a very special member of our alpaca herd and we would never sell her unless we were selling the entire herd. So as you can see, the time has come. We want only the best for this well deserved girl so if you are the one for her, please give her owner, Sharon Loner of Mile High Alpacas a call. Ruby knows only her one job, produce awesome cria and she's happy to DELIVER :)

Description

This beautiful spotless grey daughter of the Reverend Mr. Black is an alpaca that all breeders strive to produce. Championships are abundant in both sides of her pedigree. Her father, Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black, is a three time color champion during his short show career and the father of multiple champion offspring. Platinum Rose’s dam, Ruby Rose, is a splendid solid rose grey and color champion at the Great Western Alpaca Show in Denver. The success of this winning combination has already been proven through Platinum Rose’s full brother, Mile High Deacon Grey. This silver grey male has one of the most highly decorated show records for an alpaca of any color. Mile High Deacon Grey has been awarded 14 championships, including the Color Champion at the 2007 Futurity and 2009 AOBA National Show. Judges have praised the character of his crimp, density coupled with fineness, and his truly regal appearance. This male is now the premier herdsire for Laurel Ridge Alpacas, Fox Island Alpacas, and Jakaila Alpacas. These three farms have teamed up to take Mile High Deacon Grey to a higher level. He is now turning their black and grey programs into an award wining powerhouse. Deacon Grey’s younger sister, Platinum Rose, possesses the same character of fleece that her brother showed at this age. As you open her fleece a tight knit and bright crimp becomes visible all the way to the skin. Yet, the greatest surprise is that as you part her luxurious blanket the fiber turns from rose to silver. We expect that she will undergo a transformation from rose to silver grey after her first shearing and come to even more strikingly resemble her brother. This young female would be a keystone to any alpaca breeder that wishes to build their grey and black program. Price: Sold
