El Nino's Golden Legend (SOLD)

Golden Legend is an exceptional male that stands for quality in both phenotype and genetics. His sire, PCA Accoyo El Nino is the 2004 AOBA National Get of Sire and Senior Champion of the 2001 International Alpaca Odyssey show. El Nino is in high demand, so much so that Pacific Crest Alpacas raised El Nino's breeding fee to $10,000, and shortly thereafter eliminated outside breedings entirely. Legend's dam is Sophia del Sol, a light grey, 3/4 Peruvian sired by Peruvian Camilio. At her first show the AOBA Senior Judge commented on the micro bundling in Sophia's fleece and said, "The only thing wrong with this alpaca is it's not a male!" If your goal is to introduce superior genetics that includes bloodlines such as Peruvian Caligula, Peruvian Camilio, and Peruvian Guellermo into your herd then you will be making a sound investment in breeding to El Nino’s Golden Legend. Many of El Nino's Golden Legend's offspring are on the ground and pulling in Championship after Championship in the show ring. Chipita (SOLD)

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 1419283DOB: 9/13/200420 yrs
Chipita is an outstanding female, very easy to care for and one great dam We have uploaded photos of her brown male cria sired by Mile High Bandimere, named Bandimere's Daytona. For only $5,000 you can own this proven true black female breeding now to our champion, Mile High Prince Valiant. Expect a cria due spring of 2013. Proven to be an excellent mother and easy breeder as evidence by her recent female crias, Leona and Rhianna (both sold easily and fast) Chipita is a conformationally balanced and a well proportioned female. She has a delightful personality and is very compatible with her herd mates. We love her beautiful full covered and heavy top knot that frames a very true to type haucaya head. Short squared off nose that includes depth and fullness. In addition, Chipita has gorgeous big black eyes and a bite that's right on, never requiring maintenance. Although Chipita's fleece is dense with excellent staple length and great uniformity, nonetheless, as in the case with many blacks, we have easily and successfully improved the fineness when breeding her to our herd sires. Chipita is currently bred to Mile High Prince Valiant, another "fine and dense" male and with this match we are expecting another super offspring to offer you.

Description

Leona is a doll. Very easy keeper, she was halter trained by a 10 year old child in one lesson! Just a lovely personality. Leona has been healthy from day one. Wonderful disposition that is highly inheritable. She's a great one to add to any herd. Her picture is not clear, we know that, and plan to get another one soon. She was shorn on 5/16/2011 with a total clip of 5.2 pounds. Very uniform dark fawn to light brown in color. No white fibers.
