Golden Legend is an exceptional male that stands for quality in both phenotype and genetics. His sire, PCA Accoyo El Nino is the 2004 AOBA National Get of Sire and Senior Champion of the 2001 International Alpaca Odyssey show. El Nino is in high demand, so much so that Pacific Crest Alpacas raised El Nino's breeding fee to $10,000, and shortly thereafter eliminated outside breedings entirely. Legend's dam is Sophia del Sol, a light grey, 3/4 Peruvian sired by Peruvian Camilio. At her first show the AOBA Senior Judge commented on the micro bundling in Sophia's fleece and said, "The only thing wrong with this alpaca is it's not a male!" If your goal is to introduce superior genetics that includes bloodlines such as Peruvian Caligula, Peruvian Camilio, and Peruvian Guellermo into your herd then you will be making a sound investment in breeding to El Nino’s Golden Legend. Many of El Nino's Golden Legend's offspring are on the ground and pulling in Championship after Championship in the show ring. Mile High Peruvian Kusi (SOLD)

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Fawn
AOA# 1417166DOB: 9/16/200420 yrs
A picture says a thousand words. This image of Mile High Peruvian Kusi says it all and words alone just won’t do her justice. However, we shall try. She is the daughter of Maple Brook Fandango, our first premier herdsire and the male that took our farm from “who that” to “whoa, who’s that.” Her mother, 6Peruvian Colca, is the dam of 4-time color champion Mile High Peruvian Beyonce (Kusi’s half sister) that sold for $50,000. Kusi has all the good looks of her half-sister and the poise that makes her striking even among the cream of the crop. They do not get any typier than this! Yet, what she does better than posing for the camera is producing excellent babies. They have the coverage and brightness of fiber that comes through in Kusi’s picture. Her daughter Ambrielle (sold to Sand Creek Criations and Chimera Ranch), sired by El Nino’s Golden Legend, is a queen of the ring with 7 color championships and a 1st place at the 2009 Futurity. It’s more ribbons and banners than we could stick to her at one time. Kusi’s son, Mile High Peruvian Tahona, is following in his sister’s footsteps with 3 color championships, 1 reserve, and 10 blue ribbons. We rank this male as an upcoming herdsire that represents our fawn breeding program in the way that Peruvian Toulouse-Lautrec represents our whites. Kusi has exceeded our expectations as a foundation female. She has produced crias that not only do well in the show ring, but that surpass even her level of quality. This is the ultimate goal within any breeding male or female. She is a boon to the next generation of alpacas and her babies will be at the backbone of any breeder’s show string. She is currently bred to multi-champion Mile High Peruvian Bandimere and expected to have her cria in June 2013.
