Otto is new to Stone Meadow Alpacas and an up and coming herdsire. He has several crias on the ground now and all have healthy and energetic with soft silky bright and uniform fleeces. INCREDIBLY soft handle probably the second softest handling black alpaca we’ve ever seen. Deep crimping fleece with wonderful bundling locks that are dripping with brightness. To top it off Otto has an increbidly easy going personality and is as friendly and manageble as they come. Otto was never shown as a juvenile and as a yearling he placed in both halter shows entered at PAOBA and MAPACA in 2010. We entered his yearling fleece this year and he garnered a blue ribbon at MAPACE in the true black yearling class. By looks of his crias he is passing on his excellent fleece characteristics along with perfect confirmation and excellent temperment. Please come see for yourself.

100% Show Winning Offsping! Chesney’s first cria was a super dense and super crimpy and bundled beige female with exceptional fineness and brightness sired by Snowmass Invincible. Her fleece is exceptional not to mention for a light out of a dark animal. She placed 5th at MAPACA as a juvenile. Chesney’s second cria was a solid colored bay black male with super dense crimpy fleece who placed 4th at both MAPACA and PAOBA in 2009. We are excited to see how this young male matures and look forward to his future in the show ring as yearling. Chesney is re-bred to Charleston for a spring 2010 cria.
