PLF Peruvian Blacksmith of Camelot is a truly magnificent animal. We call him “Smitty” for short. He took first place at the Ohio Alpacafest and his yearling fleece took first place at the AOBA National Conference among other honors. Son of a silver grey mother and a maroon father, Smitty has a glistening true black dense, crimpy fleece. Good bone, a good bite and correct conformation complete the picture. A quick note about the photos - "Smitty" is a very solid and consistent black. The areas that look like spots in these photos are actually "green slime". A few minutes before Nancy Haus arrived for his photo shoot he decided to show all the other boys who was boss. They retaliated by sliming him. What timing! His first crias have arrived and all have phenomenal fleeces. His stud fee is $2500, with a $500 discount for small breeders (less than six breeding females).

Very fine-fleeced black. Her micron was 19.2 at import and is still under 21. She passes along her excellent fleece characteristics, her total coverage and her balanced conformation to her offspring. She has produced multiple Color Champions for us.

Description

She is a great mom with plenty of milk and unassisted births are the norm for her. She is a brown out of two TB parents, and she throws black when bred to black. A true foundation female who will be producing color for years!! Ember has very correct conformation with nice big bone. She is a pretty medium brown with black points. She is out of two true black parents. Ember has the sweetest most peaceful disposition, she just goes along with flow. Ember came to us from Santa Claus. She showed up on Christmas morning in 2013 along with her 2 month old cria "Doogie". She fit in right away and has since had another cria, a true black boy that we can't wait to get out to the spring shows. He is a stunner, and Doogie placed second behind the color champ at his first show. Ember is very well bred. Her sire is Thatll Do Little Dirty Harry. Clint is a lovely young male with very nice conformation, 'very correct in his statue' as Amanda Vandenbosch said. He has a rich luxurious dark chocolate brown fleece that is dense, but yet soft. Clint and his big brother Mr. Big won Produce of Dam for their dam LMFI Peruvian Maia twice! First at the 2013 Best of the US Show and then at the 2013 Buckeye Show Clint placed fifth in his juv. dk. brown full fleece male class at the 2013 Best of the US Show and fourth at the 2013 Buckeye Show. Both were Level IV shows, with elite competition. These were his first shows and he was a perfect gentleman, not a surprise knowing his sweet, very calm disposition. Clint placed second in the 2014 OABA Alpacafest in a very competitive class. He placed second at the 2015 Southern Select Show which was a VERY COMPETITIVE show with all of the BIG FARMS in attendance. A who's who of the alpaca world was there and he placed SECOND!!
