ATTENTION Fiber Producers!!!
Hobby Horse Ringside Rumor
HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 1384727DOB: 9/17/200519 yrs
This male needs to be working on fiber farms that want low CV, low micron, abundant fleeced animals!!!
We thank Hobby Horse for selling Ringo to us! Even as a new stud, he was already producing multi-champions. Check out HH Peruvian Backberry and HH Peruvian Kiss N'Tell! Hobby Horse tracked their alpacas density and both of these girls densities were improved greatly from their moms!
Ringo's phenomenal biopsy results include a 65 follicles/sq mm and an S/P ratio of 15:1 placing him in the top 5% of all animals evaluated by Dr. Norm Evans! His two girls were increased to 74 and 80 follicles respectively.
He is continually creating crias with extremely super fine fleece! For those of you who are interested in super fine fiber production, he is your guy! His 12 year old fiber stats still have him at a 22 micron! Even though he is adding density, his fineness is a bit deceiving to the "hand" during judging at the shows when they are assessing "density"... For that reason, many of his cria are assumed to not be dense, but they hit all the marks with fineness and long length of fiber. We are hoping to find a farm that we can partner with who will appreciate what this amazing stud has to offer.
If you are trying for a "fine" black, Ringside could be your sire! He carries fawn and black, with a 50:50 chance at black! He is a color making boy! Ringo stamps out incredible conformation! All of his cria look alike and sometimes we have difficulty telling them apart!
Ringside Rumor himself is a multi champion! He is a 4X champion son out of 7X Champion SA Peruvian Black Epic! Not only does he carry those fabulous genes, he also comes from a dam out of the 6X Champion CPeruvian Winchester!!!
We live on a small 5 acre farm and have decided to sell him, however we want to keep 10 breedings. This animal is a MUST for a farm that is solely producing for fine fiber, and tons of it. His cria come out looking identical! As much as I loved him, the judges kept saying that his cria weren't as dense as those above them, however, they were some of the finest!!! Guess that it is hard to assess density in fine animals. So, if you want super fine animals, you really need to consider buying this boy.
We will partner for $500, or you can buy wholly for $1,000.
