We are very excited about the offspring hitting the ground from our full Accoyo beige son of El Nino (Caligula's best son), who had a 16.3 micron fleece at one year! Dr. Norman Evans did a skin biopsy in the fall of 2005, and according to his results, Michelangelo's density is absolutely unmatched (S/P Ratio of 13.28/1 and follicle density an amazing 107 follicles per sq/mm)! One of the softest AND densest fleeces I've ever had the pleasure to touch! Multiple champion and blue ribbon winner in fleece and halter! Michelangelo had confirmed pregnancies at 22 months, and to date has many healthy CHAMPION offspring on the ground (including ROSE GREY, SILVER GREY, medium brown, light fawn, beige and white! His offspring took blues in both juvenile white male AND female classes at AOBA Nationals, and a grey took a blue at the Futurity! Judge Kevin O'Leary commented that a white Michelangelo offspring he judged at AOBA had "the finest fleece he'd had in his ring all day! Herdsire discounts from SSF do not apply to Michelangelo breedings. We will begin booking a few limited outside breedings for 2008.

Description

UPDATE!!! Avalanche has just been purchased by Nancy Irvine of Heavenly Haven Alpacas! She is an up and coming dark alpaca breeder who is in the process of establishing her farm in Medina! We are keeping half interest in this male as we expect good things from him! His fiber Micron is only a 20.8 with a SD of 4.4 and a CV of 21.2...this is his 2 year old stats! Well, his first show in his young career and he took 1st!!!! We are pleased that this young boy is off to such a great start! Avalanches mom is a multi ribbon winner and his sire is the one and only El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo! We really had to beg Alleluia Farms to part with him! We are sure he will follow along in his daddy's footsteps! He is such a great looker, however, he doesn't want to stand still in the show ring. He is such a uninterested competitor, that we will not be taking him to any more shows for his benefit, the judges, and certainly for ours! :) His fleece has super staple length, is consistent with great structure and is very fine! His body structure is proportionate on a stunning frame! Ask for a fleece sample! It is extremely fine! We are looking forward to his future on our farm!
