Fantastic genetics

Snow Mountain Tahoma

Alpaca, Huacaya, Herdsire (Male) | White

AOA #31472739 | DOB: 9/25/2009 (15 yrs)

Sire: Don Benito

Seed-Stock Male

Don Benito

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 1215618DOB: 10/18/200519 yrs
No unknown herdsires in his pedigree. A power-house of genetics ...Accoyos Augusto, Caligula and Felix .... plus Hemingway, full Peruvian, 7/8 Accoyo. These are not bloodlines buried somewhere in his past, but are represented in each and every generation in his ancestry. Benito will add a tremendous amount of quality "undiluted" genetics to your herd. Even with a small, dime sized, fawn spot on his side, Don Benito has always placed in very competitive white halter classes. He even placed with Dr. Julio Sumar as judge in a class of 13. Always a sign of elite quality. He exhibits a confident, "not going to be rattled" disposition. Very easy to handle as are his dam and sire. Some of the Judges Comments: "Total Package", "Very correct conformation", "Excellent Handle", "Very Good Testicular Development". "Dense, very fine". Originally priced at $30,000 reduced to sell ASAP. His owner boards all his alpacas with Stargazer and has his small, high quality herd for sale. Benito's sale price is $15,000 to sell now. Or offer 50% ownership with 100% possession at only $8,000. Part of a herd dispersal consignment sale and is available in a package at a discount with easy terms.

Dam: Snow Mountain's Peruvian Brownie

Beautiful Vicuna look

Snow Mountain's Peruvian Brownie

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 30549623DOB: 9/24/200618 yrs
Brownie is full Peruvian (1/4 Accoyo 3/4 Alianza) medium brown with vicuna markings. Brownie is structurally sound and correct. Brownie is the friendliest of our herd and is often putting her head under your arm to get hugs and scratches. Brownie carries her Alianza heritage with very fine fiber, with a soft handle and still dense. Her cria are delivered in easy and unassisted births. Her first cria is a beautiful white male with incredibly fine fiber and full coverage (destined to be an elite herdsire), proving she passes on the best of her attributes and those of her Alianza ancestry. She has produced bay black and medium fawn, showing she also produces color.

Description

Tahoma is full Peruvian [5/8 Accoyo|3/8 Alianza] and no matter where you look in his ancestry, it is all powerhouse genetics, including Augusto, Caligula, Felix, Hemingway, Mr. President, and more. Tahoma has strong confirmation and overall style. His fleece is very bright, with even bundling. During his 2012 (May 26) shearing, certified shearer/sorter Bruce MacLean, graded Tahoma's fleece as Grade 1, with his staple length being 5+ inches. Tahoma is very gentle and easily handled, whether it is for herd health or meeting the public. Tahoma has participated in many public educational and promotional events and takes the attention in stride. His calm nature persists even as a working herdsire. I need to reduce my herd and Tahoma wants to work. Help him make his dreams come true and bring him home to meet your girls.
