Super Soft True Black! AFD 21.4

Vintage Richie Rich

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)True Black
AOA# 30888555DOB: 4/17/200816 yrs
East Coast bloodlines in the Pacific Northwest, Richie has set himself apart as an incredible non-fading true black herdsire. His cria have not disappointed with beautiful structure and fiber that is absolutely stunning, ranging from Silver grey to True Black! We have repeated several breeding due to the sensational nature of his cria!! Richie has perfect conformation and a great head style and shiny soft non-fading true black fiber showing GREAT definition to his crimp at the skin level. Coverage? from the nose to the toes. Richie is as if a sponge made from rabbit fur...soft, yet thick, and backed up by his histograms. Richie's fiber is also consistent from front to back, as evidenced in two location histograms done in 2011. And if that's not good enough, his fiber has only gotten better!! 2015 Histograms show a reduction in his MFD to 21.4! Look at his 2015 histograms for all the improvements!! He does not have a white fiber anywhere; no signs of anything but pure black lusciousness. Vintage Richie Rich ("Richie") is a result of the Vintage Alpacas well-refined breeding program, producing show quality offspring. Richie Rich; his name fits his fiber...royal baby softness like never before felt in black! He is the son of Sterling Silver, a gorgeous grey from Vintage Alpacas. Sterling is still winning ribbons at 5 years old! Richie gets his wonderful soft fiber from his sire’s Alianza and Accoyo lineage, coming from PPPeruvian Cordero (Accoyo) and PPPeruvian Prosperity (Alianza). His dam, SA Silver Symphony, a medium silver grey from Vintage Alpacas, is a beautiful daughter of 5Peruvian Silverado (Sollocata import). With the exception of Richie, Silver has only had grey crias. She has a terrific topknot, and spiral curls down the backs of her legs.

Dam: Snow Mountain's Peruvian Brownie

Beautiful Vicuna look

Snow Mountain's Peruvian Brownie

HuacayaBred (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 30549623DOB: 9/24/200618 yrs
Brownie is full Peruvian (1/4 Accoyo 3/4 Alianza) medium brown with vicuna markings. Brownie is structurally sound and correct. Brownie is the friendliest of our herd and is often putting her head under your arm to get hugs and scratches. Brownie carries her Alianza heritage with very fine fiber, with a soft handle and still dense. Her cria are delivered in easy and unassisted births. Her first cria is a beautiful white male with incredibly fine fiber and full coverage (destined to be an elite herdsire), proving she passes on the best of her attributes and those of her Alianza ancestry. She has produced bay black and medium fawn, showing she also produces color.

Description

Redwood has the potential to be a very nice color herdsire, as he has a full color background, which includes some very nice true black and silver ancestry as well. Backing up his genetics are Cordero, SA Karrington, Mr. President, Dom Alamir, C4 Merrill, Silverado! You can't miss! He has a very strong, correct and proportional structure, correct bite, short nose. His fiber is a luscious dark brown leaning toward the red (for which he is named), with black points on his nose, toes and ears. It is fine from nose to toes with consistent crimp and structure throughout. His first shearing, June 12, 2013, he sheared 6 inches. Redwood is easily handled and has a very easygoing temperament, exactly what you need in a good herdsire. I expect a lot from this little guy and look forward to seeing him mature into an outstanding male.
