6P Royal Gold Imp98

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 808058DOB: 1/1/1996
Royal Gold passed in 2013 at about 17 yo. He was one of the nations finest imports. It was quite an eye opener in the 1990's when his first cria started testing at 14 and 15 micron. Many also sustained that fineness until well into adult years. He also produced many black and grey offspring even when bred to lighter colors. Antares is a solid black herdsire with a great disposition that we are still using today. He is among the top 10 Black herdsires in the EPD program for improving both fineness and fleece weight. Consistent, Persistence, Fineness.... A product of the Antacalla/Allianza breeding program, Royal Gold was originally held as the importer's personal herdsire selection in the last Peruvian importation (1998). His reproducibility is undeniable! He has proven to improve density, fineness and crimp. Royal Gold has sired numerous Champion, blue ribbon offspring that will always get comments from the judge remarking about their fineness and presence. He was capable of producing all colors, including black and grey. One of his greatest gifts to his offspring was passing on his strong presence and attitude which is noticeable from birth. Stargazer's Antares (black) and Royal Rumble are taking over his duties with a new defined purpose. We can now offer his genetics in a greater depth of color and fineness. Rumble has been 15 micron for two years in a row.

Misty Ridge Dreamer's Lyrics

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 1306781DOB: 6/16/200519 yrs
Lyric is structurally correct and sound with full color genetics. She is a beautiful maroon brown color. She has an exceptional disposition and is very easy to work with. Lyric is an exceptional mother and is watchful of all the cria in the herd, clucking at them to slow down the cria races. Her births are very easy, unassisted and uneventful. She is a heavy milk producer, evidenced by the growth of her cria (and the milk mustaches). She also passes these birthing traits on to her offspring, making birthing season a breeze. Bred properly, her cria definitely reflect her finer qualities and her cria have improved upon staple length, density and fineness of fleece (just look at their pictures). Lyric consistently produces color, even when bred to white. Lyric's cria include Snow Mountain's Champagne Truffle (dark fawn), Snow Mountain Lyric's Harmony (maroon) and Apu's Magic at Snow Mountain (med. Brown). Her progeny have claimed ribbons at every Level IV and Level V show they have attended. Lyric consistently produces quality! She is bred to Snow Mountain Koda, who is producing the most incredible cria.

Description

Harmony, a 6P Royal Gold (Alianza import) daughter, is a maroon beauty, with FULL fiber coverage. She is structurally correct and sound, is very light on her feet and prances when she goes for walks. Birthing is easy and unassisted. Harmony's first cria was a dark fawn female, sired by Snow Mountain Koda, and has the most incredible crimping fleece, with so much density that you can hardly get to her skin! We can honestly say she was our best cria of the season and sold immediately. Harmony will be a great producer to add to any herd and is currently open and available to breed to any of our colored herdsires! You pick! (That alone is a value of an additional $1,500-$2,500). Don't pass on this perfect opportunity to add this beautiful maroon girl to your color herd)
