Misty Ridge Dreamer's Lyrics

HuacayaBred (Female)Dark Brown
AOA# 1306781DOB: 6/16/200519 yrs
Lyric is structurally correct and sound with full color genetics. She is a beautiful maroon brown color. She has an exceptional disposition and is very easy to work with. Lyric is an exceptional mother and is watchful of all the cria in the herd, clucking at them to slow down the cria races. Her births are very easy, unassisted and uneventful. She is a heavy milk producer, evidenced by the growth of her cria (and the milk mustaches). She also passes these birthing traits on to her offspring, making birthing season a breeze. Bred properly, her cria definitely reflect her finer qualities and her cria have improved upon staple length, density and fineness of fleece (just look at their pictures). Lyric consistently produces color, even when bred to white. Lyric's cria include Snow Mountain's Champagne Truffle (dark fawn), Snow Mountain Lyric's Harmony (maroon) and Apu's Magic at Snow Mountain (med. Brown). Her progeny have claimed ribbons at every Level IV and Level V show they have attended. Lyric consistently produces quality! She is bred to Snow Mountain Koda, who is producing the most incredible cria.

Description

"Chammie" is a 50% Alianza Peruvian. He is very well boned with excellent structure. As a matter of fact, he has quite the attitude and prances where ever he goes. He comes from great color genetics and although he is registered as light brown, there are three colors present in his fleece: brown, white/beige (possibly grey) and black. Under the new AOBA show guidance, his fleece should probably be classified as Indefinite Dark, but some may classify it as a Rose. The light colored fiber is equally mixed throughout the main color. His fiber exhibits a good degree of brightness with full fiber coverage all the way down to his toes. Chammie placed 3rd under Judge Ruth Elvestad in the Light Brown Yearling Male Huacaya Class at the 2009 Great Western Alpaca Show (Level V Certified). Ms. Elvestad stated she liked his fineness of fleece and macho look. His personality is very friendly and curious. He is one of the easiest alpacas to handle and will allow you to do anything with him.
