Luminosa has been an outstanding addition to our herd! She has rare genetics and is 1/2 Accoyo on her dam’s side and is therefore unrelated to most, if not all, Accoyo herdsires in the US. Luminosa might not be the eye candy in the field, but her cria sure are!!!
Luminosa produces crias with unbelievably dense, lustrous, greasy feeling fleece. She has produced multiple champions for us and we look forward to every cria she gives us! With amazingly dense, soft, locked fleece for her age, she is still an excellent producer of cria and fleece! Luminosa herself is 1/2 Accoyo and fawn, but has produced many different colors, including our dark brown ½ Accoyo champion that she produced when bred to a beige!
Luminosa has been a solid producer for us, but it is time for her to retire from breeding. She is a healthy, laid back female. She has not health problems and is looking for a nice retirement home.<--description-->

Introducing Luxurious! Luxie is a STUNNING light fawn/beige daughter of the great Torbio! Full Peruvian and ¾ Accoyo makes her genetics the envy of other alpacas and alpaca breeders. Her dense fleece shows incredible luster and tight, ropey locks with that greasy feel that every suri breeder strives for, while maintaining an amazingly soft handle! When shorn she always yields a very high fleece weight. A beautiful well covered head and outstanding coverage down the legs completes this girl to make Luxie THE alpaca to have in someone’s foundation herd!
The power behind this girl speaks for itself... Luxie clinched a reserve color champion at the Level 5 GWAS show in Denver May 2006.
