This year Golden Goose produced a total weight of 7.3 pounds of fiber. She maintains buttery softness and nice staple length for her age. Her yarn compares to a much younger offspring with staple length of 3 inches consistently. We could have sold Golden Goose multiple times over the years but knew we had a champion in our hands. Goose almost 11 years old has thrown some of the best offspring next to none. She is a phenominal foundation female. In her first Show Golden Goose took a Blue and RESERVE CHAMPION at 10 months old!!! This lady is gorgeous. Her fleece is silky soft, long staple and super shine. Daughter of HAA Triumphant Son (MB), her genetics go back to 5Peruvian Camalot of Peru and 5Peruvian Fantasia also of Peru. Daughter of PLF Christmastime (W), genetics also go back to Peruvian White Out of Peru and PPPeruvian Springtime of Peru. With these award winning formulas all of her offspring have been consistent in soft fiber, staple length over 5 inches, bold crimp and super shine. Each year her offspring shear off a total weight between 8-10 pounds of fleece. All have taken blue ribbons and high color scores. Their conformations are stunning and always turn heads. Goose's offspring have been bred to high end males and females and the outcome has been some of the best fiber in the industry. Description

This year Maraca produced a total fleece weight of 6.3 pounds. Her raw fiber is sold and gone till next shearing season. Her yarn and roving is available in a small amount and is so soft and buttery it competes with her dam, Golden Goose. 2016 Buckeye Alpaca Halter Show under the judge of Sharon Loner in the show ring brought Maraca a Blue Ribbon. Fiber that is sustainable. Proving a point to the judges in the show ring that older alpacas carry the genetics to keep on giving to their offspring. Daughter to Lancaster's Highland Chieftain - Melody Lane Peruvian Maraca offers a lineage and history of high end quality. Maraca carries the genetics of PPPeruvian Design (Peru), Spinners Dream Nina Roche, 5 Peruvian Capuccino (Peru), CPeruvian Tanya (Peru), 588 Peruvian Lancaster, and 6Peruvian Conan (Peru). Daughter of HAA Peruvian Golden Goose, Maraca's dam needs no introduction as she stands next to none with her lineage and history of winning offspring. HAA Peruvian Golden Goose is consistent with passing fiber that is fine, long staple and has an oily handle to it. Lineage of 5Peruvian Camelot (Peru), HAA Camalots Triumphant Son, 5Peruvian Fantasia (Peru), Peruvian White Out (Peru), PLF Christmastime, PPPeruvian Springtime (Peru). Between the sire and the dam Maraca is blessed with the complete package and her recognized winnings are proof. Maraca, has deep brown coloring with a strong maroon overcast making her fiber a color that is very desirable, hard to achieve and looks like red velvet as she moves. Her crimp is tight and small and well over 4 inches in staple length with tons of softness. She is large boned and walks regally on halter. Maraca has achieved many awards but we are especially proud of the 2013 AOBA Nationals Spinoff in Denver Colorado. Melody Lane Maraca was honored with the only Blue Ribbon and High Color Score Ribbon for the Huayaca Class. All entries were judged by 4 judges instead of the usual 1. All judges had to agree on winners before ribboning. There were over 200 entries for this competition. Melody Lane Maraca is ready to start her breeding program and is looking for a farm who is serious about improving and breeding for high quality fleece. A free breeding to one of our herdsires is offered at time of sale.
