Sadie held her last farm day June 30, 2019 with 42 kids. She was not feeling well that day and would not stand up in the stall until a little girl noticed and went over to her. To our amazement Sadie stood with the girl and her story to this day is on facebook for all to read and see her last photos. She gave us many many years of happiness, offspring and we will never forget her. She was one of a kind. Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes was the first foundation female that Melody Lane Farms purchased in 2005 when we began in the Alpaca Industry. This year Mercedes produced a total weight of 7 pounds of fiber. Geesh!!! Very soft, dense and super white. Staple length was 3+ inches and will be processed for close to the skin products. Though her crimp is very slight to notice she carries on the genes for all her offspring that she has given us. Daughter to Scotts Royal Gold who is Accoyo and needs no introduction, he is the son to the famous PPPeruvian Royal Fawn (Peru) who is 100% Accoyo. Mercedes is not only Royal Fawns granddaughter also included is 6Peruvian Lizbeth (Peru). This fine lineage stems back to a long history on the sires side. Daughter to Peruvian Ophelia (1/2 Accoyo) and lineage expanding with CPeruvian Accoyo Amadeus (Peru) who is 100% Accoyo and CPeruvian Speranza (Peru). Mercedes has strong genetics and history on the dam and sires side and has carried this on with her offspring. Breedings to Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes have been high end and given us wonderful offspring. She throws the color of the herd sire majority of the time making our breeding choices very close to our expectations. At 12+ years young Mercedes has more than proven herself by delivering 7 offspring all with uneventful births. Mercedes denotes the perfect birther with never an issue and a very attentive, protective and private mom. She promotes plenty of milk. Phenominal genetics that carry to her offspring with the finest lineage in the industry. Offspring on our pages: Cuatro = Male TopGun Son Sonata = female - Cactus Jack daughter Castanet = female - HHWI Accoyo Craftsman by Goldsmith daughter Maestro = male - Charles P Atlas son Mandolin = female - Stratosphere daughter Princess Viola = female - Triumphant Son daughter Rebel = Male - Orion Son Mercedes can deliver another several years of offspring to a farm that is serious about genetics, fiber and Industry. One of a Kind Alpaca

Description

This year Melody Lane Peruvian Maestro brought in 9.2 pounds total weight fleece at shearing time. Super density that totally covers his whole body, conformation that is outstanding and consistent crimp offering a winning male to your breeding program or farm. Raw fiber sold immediately on shearing day for the 2016 year.. His yarn and roving are available for sale. His lineage stems back to high end stock, much out of Peru where fiber was started. Son to Charles P Atlas R1394924, multiple winner in his own right, we find superior genetics from: PPeruvian Timoteo G4565 (Peru), DPA Quetzal, PPPeruvian Cornus 4722 (Peru), 4Peruvian Matador 6030 (Peru), MFI Peruvian Cierra, 5 Peruvian Chabacana 8678 (Peru). Son to Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes R845147 and (grand daughter to PPPeruvian Royal Fawn) (Peru), he is half Accoyo. Lineage offers Scotts Royal Gold, 6Peruvian Lisbeth 6277 Impr98 (Peru), CPeruvian Accoyo Amadeus (Peru), 433 Peruvian Ophelia, CPeruvian Speranza 1154 Impr98 (Peru). Remarkable genetics along with an alpaca that will tug at your heart strings. He is so gentle and easy to handle that he allows you to trim his topknot minus halter and lead and brush his legs and blanket while perfectly still. At times, he will follow where you are so that you can stroke his neck and talk to him. Of course he is halter trained and walks so proudly on lead that heads turn. Maestro is fantastic with kids and that includes autistic, deaf, and adults alike. There is no one like him!!!! Melody Lane Maestro and Melody Lane Tambora produced an outstanding male named Ashiko (drum in Africa). He is strong boned with long crimpy fiber that resembles a solid pinkish fawn. The match between the dam and sire have already set the stage for Ashiko. Ashiko is so exceptional that he was sold at 3 months old and took his first Blue Ribbon in the 2014 CABO Halter Show in North Carolina at 8 months old. Amanda V who judged the light fawn group stated that he was the complete package for someone so young and to repeat the formula that created this awesome male. If you are a serious fiber breeder and need to improve density and tight crimp Maestro is your solution for your deserving farm.
