Although Topgun is a breeding herdsire now, he continues to win Championships! At MAPACA, Topgun won FIRST and RESERVE CHAMPION at almost 5 years old! The judge commented, "Berber carpet... holding fineness, luster, consistancy... where all of our programs should be heading!" During Topgun's Pre-breeding show career, he ranked NUMBER 18 for the Top 25 WINNINGEST males in the country! AND, he was the 3rd best Medium Fawn in the US, behind Principio and Phoenix! Okay... so what about his cria? That is the real proof of a herdsire... One word... OUTSTANDING! TOPGUN'S CRIAS HAVE ARRIVED AND THEY TRULY ARE SPECTACULAR! We are so proud of Topgun and our breeding program! We owned Topgun's dam and Sire at the time of Topgun's conception! A TRUE BRED AND OWNED! Topgun has it all! 1. Consistant small, deep crimp to his belly. 2. Awesome density, Fineness, & Luster. 3. Awesome head with a short muzzle. 4. Perfect conformation. 5. Lineage... HEMINGWAY, CULIGULA, EL NINO, PPERUVIAN VICTOR, and champion producing ASTILLERO & KEYAHNA! And let's not forget CARMELLA! She has CONSISTANTLY thrown award winning cria! Wade Geese said "He has a perfect head, incredible density, consistant, lusterous crimp... the perfect alpaca." Jill Mcleod said "He is a stunning example of what we are all striving for. Wonderful density and fineness, with consistant crimp style." The Buckeye Show judges said, "We are extremely pleased with this young male... he has perfect conformation, and a stylish head. Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes

HuacayaOpen (Female)Beige
AOA# 845147DOB: 2/23/200321 yrs
Sadie held her last farm day June 30, 2019 with 42 kids. She was not feeling well that day and would not stand up in the stall until a little girl noticed and went over to her. To our amazement Sadie stood with the girl and her story to this day is on facebook for all to read and see her last photos. She gave us many many years of happiness, offspring and we will never forget her. She was one of a kind. Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes was the first foundation female that Melody Lane Farms purchased in 2005 when we began in the Alpaca Industry. This year Mercedes produced a total weight of 7 pounds of fiber. Geesh!!! Very soft, dense and super white. Staple length was 3+ inches and will be processed for close to the skin products. Though her crimp is very slight to notice she carries on the genes for all her offspring that she has given us. Daughter to Scotts Royal Gold who is Accoyo and needs no introduction, he is the son to the famous PPPeruvian Royal Fawn (Peru) who is 100% Accoyo. Mercedes is not only Royal Fawns granddaughter also included is 6Peruvian Lizbeth (Peru). This fine lineage stems back to a long history on the sires side. Daughter to Peruvian Ophelia (1/2 Accoyo) and lineage expanding with CPeruvian Accoyo Amadeus (Peru) who is 100% Accoyo and CPeruvian Speranza (Peru). Mercedes has strong genetics and history on the dam and sires side and has carried this on with her offspring. Breedings to Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes have been high end and given us wonderful offspring. She throws the color of the herd sire majority of the time making our breeding choices very close to our expectations. At 12+ years young Mercedes has more than proven herself by delivering 7 offspring all with uneventful births. Mercedes denotes the perfect birther with never an issue and a very attentive, protective and private mom. She promotes plenty of milk. Phenominal genetics that carry to her offspring with the finest lineage in the industry. Offspring on our pages: Cuatro = Male TopGun Son Sonata = female - Cactus Jack daughter Castanet = female - HHWI Accoyo Craftsman by Goldsmith daughter Maestro = male - Charles P Atlas son Mandolin = female - Stratosphere daughter Princess Viola = female - Triumphant Son daughter Rebel = Male - Orion Son Mercedes can deliver another several years of offspring to a farm that is serious about genetics, fiber and Industry. Magnificent Fleece

Description

This year Cuatro produced a total fleece weight of 8.4 pounds. His raw fiber sold at top dollar as client stood in line on shearing day. Magnificent fleece that was difficult to surrender. If you are a serious breeder looking for an upcoming herdsire to propel your breeding program to the top, Melody Lane Cuatro could be your guy. Growing into his own legacy, Cuatro combines superior genetic strength from 2 distinct bloodlines. He is a full Peruvian with regal conformation and a very dense fleece that emulates a staple length over 5 inches at 10 months old when shorn in 2014. He actually had to be shorn twice due to density and heat. Son to CFI Peruvian Topgun 30696624, medium fawn, has won many many ribbons and awards. His lineage brings in PCA Accoyo El Nino, PHA Accoyo Bentley, PHA Keyahna, AHR Blue Chip, AHR Carmella and Peruvian Amber Dawn (Peru). All well-known and high end fiber producers. Son to Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes who is granddaughter to the famous and well known PPPeruvian Royal Fawn (Peru) speaks volumes. Also great genetics such as: Scotts Royal Gold, 6Peruvian Lizbeth (Peru), CPeruvian Accoyo Amadeus (Peru), 433 Peruvian Ophelia and CPeruvian Speranza (Peru). Cuatro with his gentle personality is halter trained and is standing stud now.
