This year Golden Goose produced a total weight of 7.3 pounds of fiber. She maintains buttery softness and nice staple length for her age. Her yarn compares to a much younger offspring with staple length of 3 inches consistently. We could have sold Golden Goose multiple times over the years but knew we had a champion in our hands. Goose almost 11 years old has thrown some of the best offspring next to none. She is a phenominal foundation female. In her first Show Golden Goose took a Blue and RESERVE CHAMPION at 10 months old!!! This lady is gorgeous. Her fleece is silky soft, long staple and super shine. Daughter of HAA Triumphant Son (MB), her genetics go back to 5Peruvian Camalot of Peru and 5Peruvian Fantasia also of Peru. Daughter of PLF Christmastime (W), genetics also go back to Peruvian White Out of Peru and PPPeruvian Springtime of Peru. With these award winning formulas all of her offspring have been consistent in soft fiber, staple length over 5 inches, bold crimp and super shine. Each year her offspring shear off a total weight between 8-10 pounds of fleece. All have taken blue ribbons and high color scores. Their conformations are stunning and always turn heads. Goose's offspring have been bred to high end males and females and the outcome has been some of the best fiber in the industry. Description

This year Crescendo produced a total weight of 9.1 pounds of buttery soft and fine fleece. Staple length still well over 5 inches with a bold crimp. This fleece is so fantastic to work with for a male of his caliber that you have to get your hands into it. He is a fiber machine and is out of our Golden Goose who at 13 years is producing a softness and consistent fleece to Crescendo. Melody Lane Crescendo produced a gorgeous female out of our Melody Lane Mandolin. Bell has produced her first offspring and was sold in June 2015 to Coffee Pot Farms. Bell resembles her sire Crescendo and has folds down her neck and back that signify density. The combination of Crescendo and Mandolin (Stratosphere Daughter) is a win win as it combines softness with density, staple length that at less than a year old came in over 4 inches at time of shearing. Crescendo is consistent in fiber softness, shine, super long staple length and his bold crimp. A deep rich Maroon coloring personifies his presence and only adds to his beauty and impressive conformation. Son to El Ninos Valerian (no longer living), his lineage on the sires side is impressive: PPPeruvian Sunipani (Peru), PCA Accoyo El Nino (no longer living), PPeruvian Caligula (Peru), PPeruvian Victor (Peru), MSA Peruvian Verbena, PPPeruvian Ayabaca Peru) (Peru). A heritage next to none. Son to HAA Peruvian Golden Goose (name you have heard before) with our farm and her magnificent lineage: 5Peruvian Camelot (Peru), HAA Camalot;s Triumphant Son, 5Peruvian Fantasia (Peru), Peruvian White Out (Peru), PLF Christmastime, PPPeruvian Springtime (Peru). Crescendo would be a superb herdsire for your farm and breeding program. He is halter trained and easy to handle. He continues to win recognition and ribbons with his fiber for his age. Like his dam he carries the gene of fineness and staple length. In 2013, AOBA Nationals Denver Colorado, 3rd place out of a class of 10, Spinoff, May 18th. Pamela Pott judged this fiber and spun the yarn that is outstanding. Fleece Criteria: 38 out of 40. Spinning Criteria: 31 out of 35. Finished Product: 21.5 out of 25. Suggested Use of Yarn: Knitting/Crochet/Weaving, Next to skin Garments, Baby Items.
