Description

This year Adagio produced a total weight of 6.3 pounds of fleece. Her fiber is the feel of silk, super soft and is a gorgeous classic medium rose gray. Her yarns and rovings are hard to find with her coloring and sell fast each year. She is gorgeous. Her staple length is well over 4 inches, crimp is bold with plenty of shine and her blanket is solid coloring. Bred to a dense, crimpy male she would contribute these enhancements in your breeding program. 2016 Buckeye Alpaca Halter Show under the judge of Sharon Loner in the show ring brought Adagio a Blue Ribbon. A proven mom, with stupendous fiber that is sustainable. Proving a point to the judges in the show ring that older alpacas carry the genetics to keep on giving to their offspring. Daughter of Highlands Blue Chip her lineage goes back to impressive names such as: Peruvian Angelique (Peru), Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, Peruvian Bueno (Peru), Boadicea, 5Peruvian Dona Aparecida (Peru). Daughter of Melody Lane Peruvian Princess Viola the lineage continues with 5Peruvian Camelot (Peru), HAA Camalot's Triumphant Son, 5Peruvian Fantasia (Peru), Scott's Royal Gold, Mystic Meadows Peruvian Mercedes and 433 Peruvian Ophelia. Adagio is a proven mother who produces plentiful milk while being a very attentive mom to her cria. She is in her prime for many years of re-producing. Consider this beautiful female as part of your breeding program as she continues her career on a deserving farm who is serious about creating high quality fleece. ADAGIO in music means a slow graceful movement. This name befits her as her personality is gentle. Adagio is very easy to handle and halter trained. We will offer a free breeding to one of our winning herdsires at time of sale.
