Sierra Legend started her career in the show ring, taking 1st Place in Suri Juvenile Female White Halter at AlpacaMania under David Barboza, her very first show. At just 6 months of age she showed nice staple length, perfect bite and lots of luster. And as an adult, she still has good luster with greasiness at the skin and nice defined locks with a cool feel. She is a Bruxo granddaughter on her dam's side and a Baron granddaughter on her sire's side, providing her with the many benefits of Accoyo lineage (she is 1/2 Accoyo).
Legend is now one of our best foundation females. She is solid in her conformation, very sturdy, and has easy pregnancies. She is very laid back and gentle, and passes her disposition on to her cria. We also like the fact that her dam El Dorado Sierra had a fawn spot; it means Legend can throw both white and color/pattern. Speaking of which...
So far she has produced two fantastic cria for us:
1) Sierra Sunset: After being bred to the the smokin' Legend's Gold by Torbio, Legend birthed a beautiful white baby girl in 2011, Sierra Sunset, who is displaying luster, density, nice lock structure and excellent conformation and is growing into quite the little beauty!
2) Apache: After breeding to Derwydd's Phawchi, a sexy dark rose grey multi, we were so excited to welcome Apache, a white and brown appaloosa! With his stunning leopard print and gentle disposition, he generates alot of buzz from those that see him. Apache shows us that Legend can produce color in addition to all white cria!
We are lucky to have this lovely girl as a member of our foundation herd!
